You charged me $1000 to do exactly what I said I was planning to do. Call the irs and set up a payment. However by the time you finally got around to it was already set for garnishment. That $1000 would have almost paid for half of what I owed. I feel like you all are crooks!

Hi Jason. I hope you received my email, but in case you didn't I'll rehash it here, omitting personal details. I explained in the email that what you told me in our initial meeting turned out to not be true. I based my direction of action based on what you told me. You said you were certain of certain things. When I requested information from the IRS it turned out the things you were certain of were inaccurate. You never responded with any indication that the IRS information was wrong, so I have to assume what they show is correct. I based my inquiry on your statements. Had you given me accurate information I would have proceeded differently. But neither of us, apparently, knew what I would find. Based on the IRS information you didn't qualify for certain additional services that we discussed. I only charged you for the research which you agreed to before proceeding. I outlined it in writing... exactly what I was going to do and how much I would charge. I did that part and did no further work and did not charge you for anything else. Again, had you told me the truth in the beginning, I would not have performed the research, as it would have been evident that you would not qualify for certain IRS programs. Based on the actual findings, I stopped working and did not charge you for anything else. Had I known the truth, I wouldn't of even done the service that I performed for the fee charged. In any case, your review indicates your dissatisfaction and I wish that wasn't the case. Again, had I known the truth from the beginning, I could have and would have saved you the $1000 fee. Unfortunately, it cost $1000 to find out that you were wrong. I don't believe that is any fault of mine, but hate it just the same. In addition, I did find out where you stood and explained how to proceed prior to what the IRS had planned for you. I don't know if you did anything, but I think it had value to be warned and give you an opportunity to head it off at the pass before you found out the hard way what was coming. The whole thing is unfortunate, but I can only base my recommendations on what you tell me. If you are incorrect, it changes everything. In your case, things did indeed change. Because of the lack of truth in the situation I have coded you to not be contacted by my firm, and to prohibit further work with you in the future. I wish it wasn't so. But sometimes it's just best to learn a lesson and move on.
