I was enrolled in AdOutreach’s program for 8 months (from Sept 2024 to May 2025). I invested $28,000 USD in total—$20,000 for the program itself, $2,000 for ad creatives, and $6,000 in YouTube ad spend. Despite implementing everything thoroughly for the entire program duration (I was fully-dedicated, as I am with every aspect of my business), I did not generate any sales nor high-quality leads. My return was $0, which was extremely disappointing. From the day I enrolled, the program structure did not reflect what had been discussed on the sales call. I expressed this early on and on multiple occasions, but the feedback was not acknowledged in a meaningful way, nor acted upon. The program is heavily standardized, with no personalized attention, and there appeared to be no flexibility whatsoever for individuals whose businesses do not fit their core model. There were plenty of opportunities for team members to step in and assist me, but I did not receive helpful support in any of these moments. At one point, I even created a detailed 11-page proposal outlining areas for potential improvement based on my professional expertise. I offered to contribute resources and support accordingly, but the response I received was that “everything was covered.” From what I could see, it was not. During the course of the program, response times were delayed more often than not, and scheduling issues were rampant. There were instances where I showed up for scheduled calls only to learn that the coach was out of office with no prior notice or backup plan provided. After many months with no results, I chose to exit the program. Shortly after, a senior team member offered me a partial refund of $1,960. This offer was contingent on me removing my TrustPilot review, deleting a private community post, and signing a comprehensive confidentiality agreement. The agreement included a clause stating I would be liable for $10,000 USD if I shared details of my experience publicly or privately after signing. This was described as a "typical" occurrence and I have retained documentation of the exchange. Suffice to say, I declined the offer. It also went against TrustPilot's policy, so I submitted a formal complaint. As evidenced, accountability was severely lacking in my case. I did not accept compensation in exchange for silence, nor will I be deterred by any further attempts to discourage transparency about my experience with AdOutreach. I highly encourage you to conduct thorough research and think carefully before investing in AdOutreach. The program did not deliver the outcomes I was led to expect based on what was presented during the sales call. And I will be writing about it very openly and very publicly in my upcoming book, with facts and documentation to support every element of my experience and recollection. I’m open to discussing the contents of this review further, if it’s helpful to anyone considering this program. Due to TrustPilot’s review guidelines and a defamation report filed by AdOutreach, some context has been omitted from this review. UPDATES: 1. This was not a new or untested offer—I had sold it before for $1,100 more than the price it was being listed at in my YouTube ad campaigns. I had also sold it over 100 times as part of a larger package. While YouTube advertising was a new marketing avenue for me, the offer was not. 2. I mentioned the third party investments in my TrustPilot review to indicate the extent to which I diligently implemented the processes and sentiments taught in the AdOutreach program. I did not state nor imply that they were essential. 3. I have not given pro-rata refunds because I have not removed a core team member from my coaching program with <24 hours' notice, when transparency would have allowed them to make an informed decision about leaving before their subscription automatically renewed. 4. I choose not to sign agreements that limit my ability to speak openly and honestly about my own experiences. My story is my story. My opinion is my opinion. And I intend to stand by both as a reflection of my integrity. 5. In a recorded phone call, a member of the AdOutreach team confirmed that the company was consistently overstretched during my enrollment and acknowledged that other clients had also shared similar concerns. 6. My 11-page proposal was not presented after the Rocket Fuel Friday event—it was presented beforehand, when I first noticed the inadequacies of the program. "We've got it covered" is the exact sentiment that was conveyed, on multiple occasions. And when a follow-up call was booked, it was cancelled by an executive assistant with just a few hours' notice. 7. There is no sense in accepting a complimentary service that has already proven not to work for my business.
Response from AdOutreachMay 16, 2025
Hi Sophie, We’re disappointed by the misrepresentation in this review, especially given the support and goodwill extended to you throughout your time in the program. To clarify: your stated investment of $20,000 is inaccurate. Your actual program fee was substantially lower. The third-party expenses you reference in video editing and advertising were not required or managed by AdOutreach. Throughout your membership, you engaged constructively with our team. We even gave you a platform to speak and present during one of our Rocket Fuel Friday events — a space we typically reserve for external industry experts, not active clients. After that event, you assembled an 11-page proposal offering to join our team on a contract basis. While it’s uncommon to receive proposals like this from current clients, we met with you to discuss it and took your suggestions seriously. There were multiple factors in our decision not to move forward, and it’s important to clarify that the communication surrounding this was professional, considered, and respectful — despite how it’s been portrayed here. When you requested to cancel your services, we followed our standard procedure and directed you to our Operations Manager. You asked for a pro-rated refund — a practice which, as you acknowledged during a follow-up call, is not something you offer to your own clients and is not standard in most businesses. As a gesture of goodwill, we offered to credit you with two additional weeks of complimentary service. Later, we explored the option of refunding your two most recent payments. You initially agreed to remove your public posts in exchange, and we explained that this would require a standard confidentiality agreement. You then declined, stating that you had already written about the program in your upcoming memoir. Following that, you stated that <$2,000 would not be enough for you to agree to confidentiality — and that you would need a full refund or “at least a much more significant portion” to even consider it. At that point, the conversation no longer reflected a good-faith resolution, and we chose not to proceed further under those terms. However, we have since decided to refund your most recent monthly payment as a courtesy. While we disagree with the characterization of your experience, we hope this gesture underscores our commitment to professionalism and fairness. Regarding support: while our team members occasionally took planned time off (as is the case in any professional setting), we maintained communication and continuity throughout. You had access to 1:1 strategy calls, daily small-group coaching clinics, and a structured program designed to help you succeed. As you acknowledged during a recent call, results are influenced by many factors, including budget, offer positioning, and sales process — all of which we discussed extensively with you. We regret that your experience didn’t reflect the growth you were hoping for. We also know that, specifically in regard to your ad campaigns, you were still early in the testing phase — with a mid-ticket offer and a brand new funnel that had not yet been validated to cold traffic. As communicated in a recent conversation, we were very willing to continue helping you iterate the offer, improve the funnel, and optimize performance inside your ad account. We stand behind the integrity of our team and the support you received. Should you ever wish to revisit a solution with professionalism and mutual respect, our door remains open. — The AdOutreach Team
