Sorry, you had problems finding the help system. Each screen has a menu bar at the top of the page. In that menu bar, you will see the word Help. Clicking on help will open the software's help system which will help guide you through the purpose, functionality, and navigation of that screen. We also have a knowledge base and video tutorials online. We also have a knowledgeable support staff standing by.

Software is okay
Software is okay, not great. Very little customization. Customer service severely lacking.

Troubling to see your comment about our customer service. I'd like to hear from you, just what went wrong. Our number one goal is customer satisfaction and if someone here didn't meet your expectations, we want to know about it. We do, after all, have a woodshed out back.
As far as customization goes, your right. We try to keep as much functionality with the least amount screens, navigation, and learning. And then do all that at a reasonable price. User customization takes up a lot of extra screens or additional space on an existing screen which can cause clutter and confusion. But we are always open to suggestions .

Address change
The program itself is great. Very annoyed and upset that if I want to change my address or phone number I have to pay a reregistration fee. That’s absolutely ridiculous to me

Hi Matthew, I know it does sound ridiculous but here is the reason why. Maybe this will change you mind.
Our registration process allows the software to be used on multiple computers without having to purchase multiple copies for new or additional computers, being that it is registered to a person, and not to a computer, as is many other software products. This process not only protects our company from software piracy but also protects the end-user from theft of their company data from their employees. About 15% of the address change requests that are processed turn out to be fraudulent due mainly to a partnership breakup, or from a former employee who has decided to start their own business. In this scenario, the person making the request poses as the registered user to be able to change the company info to their own phone number and address. At this point, they can download our free trial restore the data with the new registration number, and now have their own business with your customers to poach. We can only verify that the person making the request is the actual registered user by requiring supporting documentation as proof. The overwhelming majority of end-users prefer this type of registration to protect their data and to avoid having to pay for the same software product multiple times. The $25 fee we charge, recovers only a portion of the actual labor and material costs associated with issuing a new registration number, IE. Printing, mailing, postage, and correspondence.
We do value our customers and regret any inconvenience this may cause.

Hey Gregory, it looks like you didn't get the memo.
We do have GroundsKeeper Pro on the cloud to access the software via a laptop, Ipad, iOS, Mac, or Android device. We have had this service for many years now, and have just recently switched to a new provider.
You miss out when you don't open our emails. We do offer great deals from time to time, and always send information regarding new products and services.

Feeling mixed
Love the credit card interface, check receipts also. Struggle with billing - I need more flexibility - want to select a customer and enter all the dates to bill at once. Can't use the automated processes because my service dates aren't consistent. Also viewing information without having to leave the screen your on. example - view customer inquiry during billing

Hi Greddy, Thanks for the feedback. Did you know you can change the date the services will be posted in the enter charges screen when using the wizzard?
Our software is designed as one screen at a time system. This type of system is less problematic and easier to learn and maintain. In the series 8 software we have added a quick launch menu from every screen to reduce the number of clicks when bouncing between screens.
