Although I think this trike is very poorly engineered, the tires are ridiculous, besides being rounded to the point of only catching about an 1" to an 1 1/2 or tread out of 4"" they wander something terrible on paved trails, suspension? what suspension, steering needs some engineering as this is spooky as hell to ride on unlevel surfaces. Other than a few things I think I can work with I decided to keep this and fix it right so my wife has a toy to ride with me when i'm out riding my ebike. Now I got to admit it's a good looking trike, that's why i think it's worth the time to fix some of the basic problems instead of taking a major hit on sending it back. Ohh and I forgot they didn't send any of the wood for the front basket, or the smaller basket because they obviously have very bad customer service.

Woops here goes another "would have been " great customer!!
I've been researching trikes for a couple years now and thought I had decided on AddMotor.com for my purchase. I've read great reviews on certain models of interest. Now I've read from the other 60% of the unhappy customers and have abruptly changed my mind. Sounds like a great company with unlucky management. What a shame!!

Good luck to those of you who buy this trike…
Bought my citytri e- 310 about the end of April by the middle of June trike is no longer working. So disappointing that a $2,000 trike doesn't last barely two months. Now it sits idle in my shed . I guess I'll see how good the warranty is. Don't have much Faith though cuz I've already bought and it's on its way another e-bike can't afford another trike. Buyer beware and good luck to you who decide to buy this trike.

Decent bikes, terrible customer service
The Addmotor adventure started out rocky with the site saying that my e-bike was "in stock and ready to ship." That turned out not to be the case, and I was stuck waiting for two weeks before it shipped out. Two weeks isn't the end of the world, however the only reason I ordered from Addmotor rather than a competitor was due to the misleading "in stock and ready to ship" tag line. When I reached out to them about the matter, they didn't really seem too vested in the issue outside of what appeared to be a, "Please don't cancel," attitude. While that bothered me, I tried to not allow the shipping issue to influence my review too much. After all, the experience is more than just the time it takes to get to you.
So when the bike finally arrived, the box was busted up. I wouldn't say that it was trashed, but it was far from great condition either. I was a bit worried looking at the box, but crossed my fingers and hoped for the best. The unboxing found that my seat was scratched up and nicked in about 10 to 15 places with some of the scratches and nicks penetrating the seat cover entirely. I frowned, but pressed on. I found that the parts were not laid out or packaged in the manner the manual claimed, but was able to find most of the components. I say most, because the mounting hardware for the fenders and headlight were missing. I frowned again.
I decided not to be too bothered by the seat nor the missing hardware (I wound up buying parts at the local hardware store and proceeded to "MacGyver" my $1800 investment), because I figured that after I reached out to Addmotor to report the issues, they would offer to make it right. Well, that was two weeks ago, and they haven't even bothered to reply. Unfortunately, that tells me that my problems with misleading shipping times share something in common with the damaged and missing components, and that is that they all seem to trace back to poor customer service and a lack of empathy and customer care.
Aside from the shipping issues, the bike performs rather well. Both my son and I do get a special thrill out of being on a bicycle and accelerating uphill. That is a cool feeling. There are certainly things that could perform better (like the brakes) without fine tuning, maintenance, and tweaking, but all in all I think we are more pleased with the bike than we are with the company that sold it to us. That's about as honest as I can be with this review.
Addmotor complaints aside, it's pretty cool to be a part of the "fat tire e-bike family."

Hello Jace, thank you for the feedback, we are glad hearing you had fun from the ebike, due to the customs policy, the bike and battery could not be shipped together, we will try harder to raise customer experience in our service.
