Acuity SchedulingReviews of acuityscheduling.com

Acuity Scheduling works great and makes managing appointments simple and easy. Everything runs smoothly, and their customer support is always helpful, friendly, and responsive. Overall, a great experience!

For the last several days my booking calendar has been a mess. Acuity is not recognizing time changes this fall. Our jurisdiction is NOT switcjing back to Standard Time, but Acuity cannot handle it. Initially I was getting a one-hour shift across all booked events starting Nov 1. Now I am getting theeedifferent time zones in confirmation emails. Cannit synch with iCal. There is an open ticket with support but they have not been very useful. What a circus. I’m now actively exploring alternative Schedukers.

That’s absolutely unacceptable, especially when your business depends on customers being able to book appointments. Losing customers because the booking software has been down all day is incredibly frustrating, and it could be costing you money and damaging your reputation through no fault of your own.

This is not the first time this has happened but our calendars are completely down today - the company says it is a planned maintenance? In the middle of the day? Completely unacceptable and worthy of one star if even just for today's issue. We cannot see our appointments today and we cannot schedule new appointments. Extremely business/revenue impacting.

Not only have prices increased multiple times over the last year, no new additions or useful changes have been made outside of trying to introduce AI to the booking process. On top of that, this company likes to do "scheduled" maintenance during business hours. I say scheduled in that way because we received an email about the maintenance the night before, less than a 12 hour notice and it greatly impacts our business. We are currently in the market for another scheduling service who chooses the customer and client experience over profit.

A scheduling tool that was never ready to be an EMR. After years using Acuity Scheduling in our clinic, we learned that it was not suitable to serve as our EMR or operational backbone. We have since been carefully transitioning to our own homegrown platform. Our concerns include inconsistent webhook delivery, events originating from unpublished IP addresses, years without multi-factor authentication, and an underdeveloped data model that struggles to support the complexity of real clinical workflows. Most recently, Acuity scheduled planned maintenance from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. during the busiest quarter of the year (with just 16 hours notice). For a business-critical platform, taking service offline during peak operating hours demonstrates a disappointing lack of consideration for customers who depend on it to run their businesses. These are not isolated inconveniences. They reflect broader limitations in technical maturity, security, integration reliability, and operational awareness. Acuity may be adequate for basic appointment booking, but clinics need more than a calendar. We are building our own platform to gain the control, security, reliable integrations, and clinical workflow depth our operations require. Our experience has taught us a simple lesson: a booking calendar is not an EMR. Evaluate Acuity's limitations carefully before making it foundational to your clinical business.

Excellent tool, exceptional customer service. The right mix of customisable and templated. Good value for money. I was using Google's (free) equivalent and have no regrets about moving to Acuity's paid service. Admin tools could stand to be a bit more usable, especially the calendar view. But there's been very little if anything that I haven't been able to do. And I can't stress enough how good the service is: fast, responsive, clear, helpful.

It was nice to chat with a real person who was able to explain my problem to me, using a very helpful screenshot. It ended up being a simple issue.
