Excellent tool, exceptional customer service.
Excellent tool, exceptional customer service. The right mix of customisable and templated. Good value for money. I was using Google's (free) equivalent and have no regrets about moving to Acuity's paid service. Admin tools could stand to be a bit more usable, especially the calendar view. But there's been very little if anything that I haven't been able to do. And I can't stress enough how good the service is: fast, responsive, clear, helpful.

It works well with some limitations
It works well. Easy to access once you understand it. Easy for clients to schedule. Can set up different calendars. Although they should be integrated and they aren't so for instance if someone schedules a zoom meeting and someone else schedules an in person meeting they don't pick up on my outlook calendar so both people get to schedule even though they are doing it at different times. This is a problem and has meant I have to turn off the zoom calendar to avoid double bookings.

Still a great scheduling tool but…
Still a great scheduling tool but development of new features has slowed since being acquired by SquareSpace. Also, preventing Stripe account holders from using Stripe’s built-in Klarna and AfterPay integrations during client checkout in Acuity takes off one star. Booo!!

Great application, wish things were more intuitive at times
Appointments/services/calendars are very customizable and excellent customer service! I also love the automated reminders you can send out to customers. Plus, the ability to sync with your google calendar - CHEFS KISS! Which booking pages were more customizable. Also, Some things are not as intuitive as I'd like them to be. For example, I'm trying to set up two automated reminders - one two days before the service, and one 3 hours before the service. For some reason Acuity is making me choose only one reminder. Overall, I would recommend.

The booking process is very…
The booking process is very user-friendly for both clients and business owners. I do experience a few bugs at times, such as not being able to view client photos uploaded through their intake forms. I would also love to see Acuity offer automated birthday texts for clients, along with more automated text and email options in general. Overall, I really like Acuity and have no other complaints.

The squarespace support is fast and…
The squarespace support is fast and responsive..the actual features and functionality of Acuity seems to be at a plateau or crossroads. I am not sure if they even have a development/feature request wiki or blog anywhere.

Please change system so I don't need to assign clients to appointments in order for them to see their appointments when they log in
I think it would be really great if you could change the scheduling system so that I don't need to assign sessions to clients when I schedule for them. And also the system where clients have to log in in order to see all they schedule doesn't seem to make sense. The representative helped me figure out how to do this on the back end, but there isn't like a default setting that I can just check.
