Action Tour GuideReviews of actiontourguide.com

We loved the cape cod tour. We had never been and it brought us to all the great spots that are must sees and gave same great history of the area. Can’t wait to use this app for another tour!

I recently purchased and used this tour on 09/25/22. Pros - The 10% off coupon was a nice touch. The historical information the narrator provided was really cool. We learned a lot! The resume feature, after making a stop, works very well. Even after stopping for a few hours, the app picked right back up where it left off. Cons - It wasn't evident that my phone needed to be Android version 9 or higher. Luckily, we had another phone. Sometimes the narrator waited too late before saying which direction to turn. Sometimes it was hard to get over in another lane, to make the turn. The narrator's volume is ok, but not high enough against the sound of the car driving on the highway and running the AC. Advice - Go on a Sunday, when there's a lot less traffic. Drive under the speed limit, to keep up with the narration. Be prepared to miss some turns. Whoever does the driving, should be someone who is good with directions, reading street signs, and navigating in new areas. Most people just take pictures of the signs in front of each company, to commemorate the experience. Some facilities like Facebook/Meta, do not allow driving around their campus. Security will nicely escort you out. Overall, we enjoyed the tour and would purchase it again.

The Antietam tour was very well done. The stories are interesting and everything is timed perfectly. Directions are seamless and worked well with my device. Loved it!

We toured the Freedom trail in Boston. This app is amazing! Very informative and we loved that you can go at your own pace. We highly recommend it.

The app worked for my Newport Cliff Walk self-guided tour. GPS was good and the narration was activated when I walked to the next location. Very easy to use. My tour cost $10 and my wife and I were able to hear the commentary on the phone speakers during our outdoor walk tour.

We used the Action Tour Guides for our trips around Yellowstone NP and Grand Teton NP. The information provided was very informative and helped us learn more about the parks as we were touring. We will definitely use again in the future.

The Gettysburg Tour was full of information and we loved that we could go at our own pace.

For only $15 you get to enjoy a well-narrated tour in your own car, at your own pace. Really loved my experience. I generally don't like group tours so this was such a good option that I never considered before. I'll probably use Action Tour again!
