ActbestbikeReviews of actbestbike.com

10/21/26 update: Still nothing from actbest, zero communication other then there response to this review. I created a video on YouTube showing whats going on with this, it's titled " The ACTBEST Core ST 2.0 Plus Warning: What "Affiliate" Reviews Won't Tell You " unfortunately I can't post a direct link to it. Save your money! Ordered core 2.0 st plus Bike arrived fast, but out of the box has many manufacturers defects and is not usable! Wheel spokes loose and way out of round, tire rubs frame, derailer missing parts and wont shift correctly, gouge in frame and sharp metal burr that was painted right over, handle bars wont stay tight. Been trying all week to get customer support to respond with not luck! Next call is to my bank.

I bought a bike for my husband in September 2025. He rides it on a general basis. Not daily. Maybe 6-8 times a month during warm months. He was riding it to work when the brakes on it failed and he hit a tall curb, crashed to the pavement at roughly 15 MPH. Luckily he wasn't hurt, but the fork on the bike broke severing the handlebars from the fork. So a few issues, this should not have happened at just over a year with infrequent riding. The brakes should not have failed, the fork should not have broken like that. I took it to a bike shop and the owner said he's never seen that happen to a fork before and he's done his fair share of downhill riding and fixing bikes. I asked the company to replace it given that this appears to be some poor quality craftsmanship. Since it's just a few weeks past the year mark since I bought it, the company won't fix it and they gave me a link to purchase a new fork-the link doesn't work. Poor customer service, poor quality, poor craftsmanship. Stay way. Spend a little more money and save yourself in the long run.

Bike arrived with a faulty throttle that led to an accident. Took over two months (including a shipment of the wrong part) to receive the correct part . Customer service emails are only answered once a week. You can’t call anyone with problems they refer you to email customer service only. Had another broken part. No acknowledging of out previous issues that we clearly received a lemon ignoring our requests for a refund or sending a new bike. Only “sincere apologies” “we are trying”. They’re not

My bike came damaged and the parts were not manufactured correctly. I contacted ActBest who took days to get back to me. Now I'm past the 14-day return period and cannot return the bikes for a refund. I took it to a bike repair shop who told me because the parts were bent during shipping they could not repair it. I contacted ActBest and was told I was out-of-luck even though I paid for the shipping insurance to insure me against damaged parts. #Crooks

I ordered an ActBest Mars EBike and it arrived fast. However, I was sent a used ebike! I originally ordered the purple Actbest Mars but it was not available for 3 weeks. I need the bike to commute for work and couldn't wait 3 weeks. I was advised if I changed the color my ebike would ship within 24 hours and it did. I left work as soon as I saw it was delivered. 1 hour early because I was so excited to have my own transportation to work. To my surprise when I opened the box and lifted it out I saw dirt in the box. Upon further inspection the tires are dirty, scraping on the frame, wear marks on the handlebar. I didn't even take off the protective foam and zip ties. I sent pictures immediately to customer service and called. Aaron was extremely nice and informed me I would have to wait to hear from a representative. So my excitement turned to worry because now im back at square one asking for a ride, riding the bus, or walking. I paid for a new ebike with insurance and I got stress instead. Extremely disappointed with ActBest. I accepted a different color for faster delivery and got slapped in the face by receiving a used ebike. Update: I received a response from Vicky at customer service. She stated " all ebikes are package directly after assembly, with a test ride in a warehouse ". The ebike is received was covered in dirt, oil layers and dust. I was offered a $30 refund. I will be requesting a full refund. Update 10/20/2026 Ebike returned and I received a full refund. Thank you for promptly processing my refund.

Received my bike damage forks (safety issues), broken fender, keys missing, fender bracket missing,All scratch huge dent on the frame,Unable to install the Fender missing bracket. Rear tire hitting bike frame. Reached out to customer service. They asked me to submit a email which I have waiting to hear back. Hopefully, I can get an update. But as for now, i'm gonna have to leave them with the two STARS. Update 10/7/26 8:58pm i was offered $30 discount and they have offered to send me front forks who going to install them ? the hole reasons I bought a new bike was, to have a new bike and not to work on one. I can work on my old bike and save myself 900$,make no sense to me but ya it still wont fix rear tire rubbing on the frame, or the bent part on the frame. Finger crossed. Update soon. 10/14/2026 still in the process of dealing with this issues have to reach out Xcotton shipping insurance they instructed them to mail out any bike, hoping they do a quality control check. Before sending it so all pieces will arrive keys. Fender hardware, this has been overwhelming and very exhausting. Up date soon #3 10/21/26 so after having my charges reversed, this company decided to move to a third party and Tried to charge a different agency (klarna never ordered or open an account through this company)for the damaged bike without my approval. At this point i'm going to have to leave him one star finally received the mailback postage, so I can send the bike back. What a headache one star review, buyers beware!

After 2 years of light use, the power suddenly was reduced by about 1/2 on my ActBest ebike. I contacted customer service, gave the rep feedback as asked, and they determined the motor had failed. They said they would look for a replacement, and after 6 weeks of no response, I contacted them, and they said they found one and I would be contacted by the supplier. Again, no response so I contacted them again and they said the replacement motor didn't pass inspection, but they would keep looking. It certainly feels like I'm being given the run-around, with no resolution provided. Meanwhile, it's been 3 months now that I have been without a functioning bike.

Got 640 miles out of my core st 27.5 bought it back in April got error code 30 3 weeks ago ever and was told the bike is no longer in production and I'd have to wait when new controller goes into stock, they don't even have bike available on website so even if i wanted a new one I can't so id be careful buying a bike cause when they update, don't matter if you got a warranty or not they just gonna ignore you like they doing me you'd be better going with another brand with better not scumy customer service and actual business practices
