Access Wireless Lifeline Phones …
I have the lifeline program through Access Wireless in Oregon , Access Wireless is the only company Oregon uses ! I started out with the Gemini free phone , lots of issues with the phone ! Access Wireless sent me another phone to fix my issues ! The replacement phone is a PCD p63L, and it has lots of issues as well , so many that half the time I just shut it off , it's so frustrating when trying to go on internet , send s text etc when every few seconds I get this message system UI not working! The screen will go black and come back on when it's ready too ! Most of the time it takes me 5 to 10 min just to be able write and send a text and making a call ! I appreciate the lifeline program , having a good working cell phone would help as well ! I don't understand why Access Wireless sends out worthless phones to people who can't afford to buy a good phone , is it because we are the poor ? I have no other options but to keep using Access Wireless since they are the only cellular service provider for Oregon at least where live in Oregon ! I tried writing this review on my PCD phone but as usual every 5 seconds the message " System UI not working" so I had to borrow a friend's phone ! What's it going to take to get a usable Lifeline cell phone ? Just because we are not able to pay for cellular service , we should get a usable free lifeline cell phone , not this crap you have been giving out ! You told me in your response to my last review , that you (Access Wireless )wanted to resolve my phone issues . Well you did not , not even close ! I am reporting Access Wireless to the FCC consumer complaint website, and to the Better Business Bureau as well !! And the Oregon public utility commission !! Thanks , Shelly Cox

Dear Shelly Cox, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We sincerely apologize for the ongoing frustration and inconvenience you've endured with both the Gemini and PCD P63L devices provided through the Lifeline program. We completely understand how essential it is to have a reliable phone—especially when it’s your main connection to communication, services, and support. We are truly sorry that the devices you received have fallen so far short of meeting those basic needs. Your feedback is not only heard, it matters deeply. It's never our intention to make anyone feel overlooked, especially not our Lifeline customers who rely on us the most. No one should feel that the quality of their service or device is compromised due to financial circumstances, and we regret that our actions made you feel that way. We also recognize that this issue has persisted despite our previous attempt to resolve it, and for that, we are deeply sorry. Clearly, we did not follow through in a meaningful or effective way, and we take full accountability for that. Please allow us the opportunity to make this right. If you're open to it, we would like to escalate your concern to a senior representative who can work directly with you to provide a better resolution. You should not have to accept a device that fails to meet basic functionality. You can reach us at https://www.accesswireless.com/contact-us, and we will ensure your case is handled with urgency and care. Once again, we apologize for the poor experience and appreciate your patience and honesty. Your voice is important, and we are committed to doing better—not just for you, but for all Lifeline customers. Sincerely, Access Wireless Customer Support Team
