I love this app! Very useful for aspiring Freelancers like me. Their short courses are very informative and accessible.

When I stumbled on Acadium last year, I felt like the luckiest person on the planet. I'm a huge fan of the Acadium platform. I've already successfully completed one apprenticeship through Acadium and I'm currently lining up my next apprenticeship as we speak.

This is a game-changer for me. The platform helped me find a great mentor and now I'm working with him (paid). Highly recommended to anyone who wants to learn new skills and ideas from a mentor or just gain experience and improve your skills.

If you're looking to hire an apprentice, don't pay this company to find you an apprentice -- just post on Indeed for an apprentice, and use that money that you would have spent (~$400) and PAY DIRECTLY TO THE WORKER. Don't pay into a system that tries to make unpaid work 'okay'.

Great platform for beginners with no prior experience.

Acadium is a fabulous platform if you are starting out with digital marketing. You can choose a specialty, improve your knowledge with their courses and find the right mentor for you. My advice is to prepare for your interview with your mentor. Make sure you know exactly what is expected of you so there are no misunderstandings about that. I had the most amazing mentor and the 3 month apprenticeship went by so quickly!

I personally had a great experience with Acadium. I worked with two mentors for three months and gained real-world skills and experience without the fear of making mistakes because it was an apprenticeship environment. My marketing skills improved as well as confidence in myself. I would’ve given the program 5 stars except for two things: - I feel the education/classes portion could be more sophisticated. The class content was solid but the delivery via just text on white slides felt amateurish. But this isn’t a deal-breaker by any means. - Students need to know not every business owner they talk with is truly interested in being a mentor. Some just want inexpensive marketing talent. Like any working relationship, the student should carefully vet the biz owner to ensure they’re willing to help the student learn and grow. I also feel Acadium should take on some responsibility for vetting mentors better to ensure the “bad apples” aren’t allowed into the program. I was fortunate to have two excellent mentors who were committed to my career growth. But overall, Acadium was an excellent investment of time in my education and career.

Acadium enabled me to connect with a fabulous mentor and really fast-tracked my up-skill process. I learned more in my 10 hours per week than I did in a full time internship. You can choose a mentor who's going to help build your career, rather than settling for any internship that will take you. It puts the power in your hands.
