Acadium is a good platform, but the people are hit and miss. I have had 6 successful apprentices complete all 3 months, but twice as many have had to be released. Many apprentices do not take the opportunity seriously. They tend to treat it like something extra to fit in their day. The actual app does not work well and it is very challenging to scroll through and find apprentices. The app severely lags, so much so that you can receive a notification about a message, but when you enter the app you can't find it. Also, watch out for people in countries that don't have first world accommodations. I ended up with someone from Nigeria once who had a pirated Adobe license, used a generator for electricity, and had to pay to for internet by the kb.

This is helpful but if we can get the job would be a boon for us.

Not too helpful for my company: I was surprised that the apprentices are not paid anything from the money that Acadium received, which made me feel quite uncomfortable. The language skills that people mentioned often did not even come near a fluent level, which meant that I had a hard time finding anyone who would fulfill that requirement. A lot of interns were also not available in the promised scope. A lot of them were very junior, so not too much help for us. Would not use the tool again.

My interim disappeared the last few weeks. Initially, Acadium did not assist me and was simply going to apply a $50 refund to my next intern. I was not keen on using it again, but eventually customer service reached out to me to resolve the issue the best they could. I appreciate that they eventually did try to resolve the problem with a new intern.
