People don't have no way of transferring their items to their new place Plus they either lose their job or lose their monthly check and they're so picky picky picky .they either pick it up or it stays at this complex don't have nobody to move it to my new to the new place moving companies cannot move items that are still being rented. Some of their customer service people are very rude they don't let the customer finish a sentence they always have to interrupt and that is kind of rude.

I went to the location in amite ,La today looking to buy a dryer and possibly a washer. The manager never looked up from his phone yelled for a salesman to come show me appliances. The guy ask me to fill out some paperwork to which I told him I want to look at what they had first. The salesman then proceeded to work up a quote on what their bottom line washer/dryer set would cost. He has not said a word to me up to this point. He handed me the paper and said thats how much it will cost for x months and so on. I asked is this the only new one you have He said "well you never said what you wanted so I just picked one" I said ok well you didnt ask but are you going to let me see it before I purchase to which he got an attitude and said its like that one over there and pointed. I took the paper and walked out. They absolutely made me feel like I was bothering them and I went and bought a dryer from their competitor down the street , bc the competitor was personable and actually seemed like he wanted my business. I went to aarons looking for convenience and would have gladly paid for convenience but after the poor interaction I decided I will absolutely NOT purchase from a place that treats potential customers like that !

Cuba, Mo Purchase
I purchased a front room set from Cuba Missouri and I am down to my last three payments. Over the past year and a half of me paying on the furniture I advised the company that when I moved my coffee table off of the carpet onto the hardwood floor the table shattered. I have been in constant communication, I have ask that it be replaced the only replacement was a gold coffee table that was so huge there was no way I was going to be able to move it at my age. I have stated that at this point in time since the coffee table is not being used at all along and hasn't been for a year and a half because it's broken with the side tables I will gladly return them and let's call it even and I'll keep the furniture part because it's been paid for. To date not one person from their company has offered any type of compensation but only States that they're not responsible for that broken table top but I am apparently even though I'm 60 years old and was cleaning my house and moved it from the carpeted area to the hardwood and it broke. I don't understand why I have been made to pay on this item for a year and a half when it hasn't been used for a year and a half and they're not willing to make any exceptions on a rent to own item. I will never use them again even though I had anticipated purchasing more items. However if this is the way they're going to treat their customers that are making honest payments on something that they don't even know yet and can't get a replacement or fixed and continue to pay on it for that amount of time that's wrong.

I have nothing nice to say about them
I have nothing nice to say about them. 2 times I sat waiting for men to come and pick up a chair that never showed, No calls. When I call the showroom I am told someone will call me back, they didn't, someone is looking up what is going on, never got back on the phone or no one answers at all. I am so disgusted with these people it's not funny.

My experience with Aaron’s was…
My experience with Aaron’s was extremely negative, and I cannot recommend the company for any reason. I was sold defective equipment, and instead of resolving the issue responsibly, Aaron’s attempted to push that defective device back onto me multiple times. This resulted in unnecessary stress, loss of time, and financial impact on my end.
I completed my payments in full, yet I was left without a working product and without support. I was forced into court over a device that Aaron’s kept, along with my money. I lost time, money, and any remaining respect I had for the company.
It is unreasonable to request a positive opinion or recommendation when the company retained both the payment and the defective equipment. This experience demonstrated a lack of accountability, customer care, and integrity.
Based on the circumstances, I am requesting a full refund for the defective equipment. This is the appropriate resolution considering the product failure, the mishandling of my case, and the financial and personal inconvenience caused.
This is my honest opinion of my experience with Aaron’s.

General Manager Noel Sterna was disrespectful
My husband and I had an extremely disappointing experience at the Aaron’s Rent‑to‑Own location in Porter, Texas. The General Manager, Noel Sterna, spoke to us in a rude, disrespectful, and loud tone, which is completely unacceptable for someone in a leadership position.
We rented a lawn tractor two weeks prior and paid $1,081.00. We were told the tractor had been repaired, but it was not fixed. When we decided we no longer wanted the tractor due to the unresolved issue, Noel initially stated that the money we paid could be applied toward another item. Other customer service personnel also confirmed this, but Noel later changed her mind and claimed that “wrong information” had been given to us. I explained that it was not our fault that her own employees — including herself — provided incorrect information.
During the conversation, Noel went as far as to insult my husband, accusing him of breaking the tractor on purpose. This accusation was offensive and completely unreasonable. We explained that we needed the tractor and were prepared to pay it off “same as cash” in four payments, exactly as Maria, another employee, had explained to us. Noel then stated that Maria had also given us “wrong information” and that this was not how their program worked.
Because of all this misinformation, inconsistency, and unprofessional behavior, we ended up losing $1,081.00 in less than a month — money paid for a product that was never repaired and for which we were denied the option to transfer our payment toward another item, despite being told multiple times that we could.
The disrespect, confusion, and lack of accountability we experienced at this location are unacceptable. Customers should never be blamed for the mistakes of employees, nor should they be spoken to in a rude or accusatory manner. This situation has left us extremely disappointed and concerned about the professionalism and integrity of this store.
