This company probably writes their own reviews. They are over priced. They will up the price when they pick up your items. They will break items and lose items. Their insurance, CSI, will refuse your claim. Pay a little more with a big company, it will be less in the long run. They refuse to talk to better business bureau. Crooks! They know who I am and put my emails under “spam.” Don’t believe the reply’s! It is now Sept 22, 2023 and A Plus has not got back to me at all. I have found other items missing from boxes. One can't ever be replaced. They told me to quit emailing them. Remember, they quoted me approximately $10,000 to move my items. When they picked up my belongings, it went to $17,000. DO NOT USE THIS MOVING COMPANY!

EVERY SINGLE REVIEW IS A FAKE REVIEW FROM ONE OF THEIR FRIENDS. I had the WORST moving experience of my entire life with this lying, cheating, dishonest 'company'. Every single person, starting with Will the Salesman lied without cessation. To start, I already had a UHaul truck rented, an independent driver hired and separate movers on each end all lined up to the tune of 3000. Then I came across the A Plus Moving Group. Will The Liar Salesman ASSURED me that working with his company would be cheaper. We did a FaceTime of my home, he quoted me 3200. So, only 200 more and without all the hassles of hiring three separate companies. He said they would arrive in Charleston Thursday at 11am to drive directly to Freehold NY, arriving Friday afternoon. I get a call from Andre The Dispatcher the Tuesday 3 days before they are due to arrive at 3pm. He tells me that if I want to see my belongings before next Christmas, the movers will come THE NEXT DAY at 11 am, leaving me only a few hours to pack AN ENTIRE HOUSE. If I don't agree to this, Andre lets me know that my belongings may not arrive until 7-10 days after the date they PROMISED. I am forced to agree. I don't get insurance because I've been told the same two drivers will be loading and unloading and since it's a straight shoot from Charleston to NY, it should be okay. The movers show up, 8 hours late, to inform me that they are NOT heading straight to NY, they are going BACK to North Carolina, unloading my belonging into a warehouse, to be reloaded by other movers into an 18 wheelers that is going to be making multiple stops for multiple people! MEANWHILE, once you realize you BETTER have insurance because this is a MESS, too bad for you, because you can only get insurance up to three days before you leave! This is why they lie and say it's going direct: when you FINALLY find out the truth, it's too late to get the insurance. Meanwhile, the driver goes through my house and tells me the FaceTime estimate was inaccurate and that if I want to move, I will cough up another 3200, DOUBLING TO COST. YOU HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO AGREE as Andre says 'Oh we can cancel the trip, is that what you would like?" YOU HAVE NO CHOICE BECAUSE EVERYTHING IS PACKED AND READY TO GO AND YOU WONT FIND ANOTHER MOVER TO COME QUICKLY. I bust my ass to get to Freehold with two dogs, agreeing with the new drivers to meet at 1pm Friday. At 1pm on the nose, as I am standing in the driveway of my new home, expecting them, when the new drivers text me to tell me they won't be coming until SATURDAY! When they finally arrive, they unload with no platform or step down from the truck, so they are either just dumping boxes on the ground from a high height or they are SLIDING THEM, which resulted in multiple breakages. Next comes the sofa and after trying lazily to get the sofa through the front door, the homicidal one looks at me and says, its not going to fit. OH YES IT IS, I reply. I run around the unfamiliar house, looking for something to unscrew the light fixture while they stare at me and offer ZERO HELP. I get a ladder, climb up, balance one leg on the sofa and manage together the fixture off. I GET THE SOFA IN! After I've calmed down, I remember the Better Business Bureau, a move I should have started with AND SO SHOULD YOU. A Plus Moving Group HAS AN F RATING ON THE BBB. No surprise there. I'm the idiot who didnt check. It would be hard to put words to how ripped off, lied to and abused I feel. In the end, the move cost me 5500, including all the the various tips in cash and so forth WHEN THE ORIGINAL QUOTE WAS 3200! Dont bother filing a complaint with the BBB; the A Plus Moving Group doesnt respond to a single one. I have much more th share but there is a character limit. STAY AWAY FROM THESE LIARS. TRULY AWFUL. UPDATE: They replied with a link? I know what I paid, and my review enumerates the ways the experience with this company was literally AWFUL. Moreover, they constantly rename themselves with little variations making it impossible to track who is who. Just AWFUL.

I recently used A Plus Moving for my long-distance move and I couldn't be happier with the service I received. From start to finish, the team was responsive, communicative, and incredibly helpful.
