Thank you David. Keeping a journal alongside it is good advice. Most people are surprised by what they notice when they look back a few weeks later. 🤍

Life-changing
I have never written a review quite like this one! But there is a reason I have chosen to include my life story “in a nutshell”, and that is because 9D Breathwork has been transformational for me.
I have always had trouble with regulating my emotions, for as long as I can remember. As a child at home I was easily irritated, quick to anger, I had extensive tantrums. These continued well into my teenage years, and beyond. At school I felt painfully shy, was purposefully defiant, overly sensitive beyond measure. My teenage years I was still angry, and tearful, suicidal in fact.
I found my way into working with children of all ages in a variety of different roles over the years, and in many ways this saved me. It gave me purpose, to do what I could to help them. I especially gravitated towards those who were struggling with learning difficulties, mental health issues or for any other reasons. I became very good at these jobs. I have found working with other adults to be the hardest part of every job I’ve ever had, and I continued to be easily triggered and highly sensitive to criticism and not fitting in with the crowd. Meanwhile I loved being a safe, understanding and supportive part of many children’s lives… I understood them because I hadn’t grown up either.
My wife and I now have four wonderful young children of our own. It was all I ever wanted, to be a mother. I thought with all my experience that I knew exactly what it was to be a parent. But it turns out, I knew nothing. I still struggled to regulate my own emotions when I couldn’t just play the calm part of somebody’s day like I did at work. Especially after my wife had our 3rd baby, I would become deeply stressed and over-stimulated and shout at the children if they didn’t do what I wanted, if they were squabbling with each other, or if the constant demands just became too much.
Through extensive research I had developed an understanding that there were two parts to what was going on. One problem was the fact that my nervous system was in a constant state of fight, flight or freeze. My body was reacting as though I was under attack, if one of the kids refused to get dressed for example. I could feel these physical symptoms such as a racing heart, shallow breathing and my stomach in knots. I had also been diagnosed with high blood pressure. The other problem was that I had never learnt how to regulate and express my emotions appropriately. At this stage of my parenting journey, I learnt to identify and recognise my triggers and I had developed an understanding of what was going on physiologically in my brain and body. But I still couldn’t control my emotions and reactions to the difficult moments of parenting where I felt like I had no patience at all, especially after a day of being professionally patient with everyone else’s children!
9D Breathwork was the missing part of this puzzle for me. I enjoyed the process from the beginning, despite the fact that I am unable to be fully present as I am normally either looking after my little ones or have one ear open in case they wake up. But I have learnt how to control my breathing and how to initiate this and stay calm in difficult moments like the kids running away from me. My behaviour is changing in response to this and I am actually feeling proud of myself. In a way it has been easier than I ever expected because a lot of the time I am genuinely feeling calmer, when I always thought I just had to learn to fake it better.
My kids also love listening to the 9D breathwork audios with me and being a part of this journey I’m on. Sometimes they listen to it at bedtime which helps them fall asleep, or they come and sit with me while I’m doing my breathing.
9D breathwork is an amazing tool for anyone who has anxiety or anger issues or in fact any mental health problems as the audio tracks include many positive affirmations about creating positive change in your life and the messages that you are worthy and you can do anything you set your mind to. There is also a supportive online community where you can talk to others about your breathwork journey. I whole-heartedly recommend it to everyone!

WOW, Thank you Ang. That took real honesty to write and it will land with people who recognise themselves in it. Staying calm when it actually counts, and your kids sitting and breathing alongside you, is about as good as this gets. Proud is the right word. 🤍

Early signs this is a good thing.
I’m doing the free 5 day trial at the moment and am a newcomer to Breathworks - 2 days in and it feels good, like it makes sense. So much in my body holding tension and ‘stuff’ - I’m aiming to commit to this process and follow where it goes. Early signs this is going to be beneficial. The recordings and explanations are well done to. I like the ‘stacking’ of methods used - a great way to intertwine sound, vibration and breath.

Thank you Yvie. Two days in and it already makes sense, which is usually a good sign. The stacking of sound, vibration and breath is deliberate, so it is good to hear that lands. Keep going and see where it takes you. 🤍

Fantastic experience
First off, a lot of the content requires no purchase. There seems to be an app but I haven’t subscribed to it yet. I did the 5 day breathwork mini-challenge and it has been amazing. I haven’t had the profound shifts that others in the community have reported, but what I did experience was still really cool. It’s amazing what focused and high-intensity breathwork can do for you, even after only 5 days. The peaceful calm that sets in after a session is so absolute that it feels unshakeable. I tend to sleep a lot deeper as well.
Anyway, there’s absolutely nothing to lose trying it and the only tool you really need outside of your phone is yourself. That’s it. You just got to commit and show up and the results will follow. Take care.

Thank you Nathan. Not everyone gets a dramatic shift and that is completely normal. The unshakeable calm and the deeper sleep are the work doing its job. And you are right, the free content stands on its own. 🤍

A profound transformational experience
I tried the “releasing the 5 primary imprints” and it was a deep soul journey for me.
The moment I started, I was crying… I couldn’t keep the right pace but did my best to go to that edge that Brian was describing. I started seeing images of me in the incubator, feeling angry and also as a 2-year-old when my parents took me to my grandma when my sister was born so my mom can have her 40 days with her without me. Even with the first part of breathing, the image of me in the incubator started changing colors and smiled at some point… when the part of the sighs started, it was so powerful… and when the scream came… my cats were so scared that were looking at me not knowing what to do or whether to intervene. That “stay with me” after the scream was a BIG anchor so as not to drift into despair… I did keep crying and screaming even after the “calming down” phase had started but his words anchored me to my body.
Very beautiful integration at the end and seeing the gratitude and the tears in his eyes also made me emotional.
I was exhausted afterwards, as expected, and took it easy. Slept earlier than usual. The back pain I have for a year now that holds a lot of grief there today is more intense but I know it’s part of the process, bringing it more intensely to the surface so it dissipates eventually.
I knew my soul was nudging me to the right place.
Blessed be you, Brian!!!

Thank you for sharing this Despina. The 5 Primary Imprints journey goes deep and it sounds like it took you right back. Glad the anchoring held you through it. Rest well, be gentle with yourself for the next few days, and Brian will be glad to read this. 🤍
