I fell for your ploy…
I fell for your ploy of thinking that you are a government contractor working for the IRS. I could have filled out a simple form. I was expecting an agreement with the IRS, and the ability to make my first payment.

Hi Carl, we're sorry for the confusion. 97tax is an independent tax preparation service, not a government contractor or the IRS. We are IRS e-file approved and BBB accredited. We prepare and mail your completed IRS payment plan application, which you sign and mail to the IRS in the prepaid envelope included. The IRS then reviews it, responds by mail, and you make payments directly to them once approved. The address form did not accommodate…
The address form did not accommodate canadian addresses and I did not get a confirmation to send me the completed form to my home address in Canada.

Took my money and failed to provide…
Took my money and failed to provide document requesting pay out plan with the State of California. Total waste of my time and money.
