Do not join them- Chloe is particularly rude. Made it impossible for us to cancel our account with them (while still charging).

Absolutely terrible company. The phone lines don't work and either cut out or go to voicemail, my account manager hasn't responded to a single email or call since I have been with them. Last year, I went through a novation and all of the payment details, email addresses were changed. All emails bar the one that is needed to log onto their portal etc. Now that I am logging on it is sending a code to an email I no longer have access to. You would think this would be easily solved however in 8x8s case, the fact that you cannot get hold of anybody means its a dead end. I'll probably end up having to cancel the DD so that they chase me for payment in order to speak to somebody. Stay well clear. What a rubbish company to do business with

It’s been impossible to cancel my phone line with 8x8. Their support is now completely automated by AI, and it’s nearly impossible to reach a real person. After days of trying, I finally managed to get through to a live agent who promised I’d receive a call back to finalize the cancellation — but that call never came. It honestly feels like they’re making it intentionally difficult to cancel, holding customers hostage for services we no longer want to be billed for. This is unacceptable business practice. I’ll be submitting formal complaints to the BBB and the State Attorney’s Office for these deceptive and obstructive cancellation tactics.
