I'd heard good things about Jitsi and in trying to set up an account was taken to the 8x8 US site - even though I'm UK based. I signed up for a free trial and got an email confirming payments would start 3rd June and, er, that it! No set-up info, no get started guidance, no account number, no login details. Now 2 weeks later I'm still still struggling to get any response from them acknowledging my requests to cancel. I was able to speak to the UK office but they say the US office needs to process it.... nightmare!

The phone service is okay. Call quality can be an issue. Also, this company makes it extremely difficult to cancel. They avoid your calls and refuse to provide you any means of canceling. I have had claims that they will call me back to assist with cancelation, only to find that they refuse to call.

I have 5 licences for different users for my company. We initially did not opt for the the telephone sets and used earphones to communicate. Later on we felt the need for handsets for our staff and then got quotes from them. We ordered a wired telephone device which cost us approximately 40-50£ to check out how it would work. It worked fine and we requested additional 2 devices and 8 x 8 jacked up the price without any logical reason, stating that the offer was only with a licence. We already have 5 licences and did not understand the logic behind this. We felt that we were being taken for a ride. Feeling quite let down by this company. I am forced to buy the hardware outside or have to switch to a different company. I lodged a complaint and did not get any solution from their Management.

There is a person at the company that is probably one of the most unprofessional and horrible people that I've ever experienced. You know who you are.

They are a horrible company who buries annual auto renewal policies and charges outrageous cancellations fees (think $1,500 for a small company like mine!!). Customer support does not care and even though I never signed anything they have threatened this action. DO NOT USE - I moved out number to Nextiva and am happy with their service so far.

Problems are never solved and the analytics gives false information.

Absolutely dreadful - was always glitchy and unreliable, then an 'upgrade' left our business with no conferencing facility for a month. Could not have been worse. We left, despite having to continue paying for the handsets for another 3 years - that's how bad this service was. No one knew who was supposed to be doing what, we got no updates until we chased. Farcical.
