I had 8x8 service since last 5 years, so my business is running based on phone number and SMS service, some reason last 20 days they unable to restore my SMS service. its huge impact on my business as loss of business revenue. wait for this week otherwise move to different carrier.

They started an SMS campaign and had me register my brand so that SMS services would NOT be discontinued BUT it has been >1 year and they still have NOT figured out how to help me. They cannot tell me what the delay is, who to contact, how long the problem will take to resolve despite NUMEROUS hours wasted with their technical support. So my business will lose SMS access which is critical for my business with NO FORESEEABLE resolution in site. All the while I continue to pay for services.

Just dont implement anything you discuss with them. Just spend 20 minutes on the phone and as a technology firm they have no idea how my account runs and made no notes of pirior calls so have to start all over again with our contract renewal. OK so what are you going to do about it?

Make sure you read all the fine print. We had been with this company since 2017. The phone system was okay but nothing special. We went with a different provider just last month. Called to cancel their service. No problem. Service canceled. BUT, they will continue to charge the credit card until the end of the year. It's a yearly contract and will automatically renew each year. You are out of tough luck if you don't care for their service. I don't think this is right, but who am I to question their ethics? Anyways, I suggest you look locally before going with someone across the country. We are in Indiana and 8x8 in California. I think this company doesn't really care if you cancel, they will get their money anyways. Sorry, 8x8, not a very ethical way to do business. This is a learning curve though. ALWAYS read the fine print, especially on the canceling practices.
