People should know before purchasing that there are more skin color/hair color combinations that are NOT recommended than combinations that are. Mine was not recommended and the potential burns described were enough to dissuade me from trying. People should also know that options for return refund are: 1) Give to a friend for 0% refund 2) Return for 100% online store credit 3) Return for 90.7% refund (to cover restocking), takes 3 days after you deliver to UPS.

I just wanted to revise my review. I first received this email (below) asking me to leave feedback and as you can see it promised a gift. But after leaving the feedback they emailed saying no gift/$ was available! Here’s what they had in their email: We were wondering if you could leave a short feedback. I used my 5minskin 2.0 device twice and then it wouldn't power up. I am returning it! How did the 2 sessions go? Okay. It won't remove a hair from my chin but if I pluck and then roll over the area with the device, they have not regrow. But in my opinion it was released too soon without the bugs worked out. While the instructions are simple legible and easy to read. They are wrong. So there is that!

After placing my order, the company called to confirm my order- I received the ipl device soon after. The plug always makes a spark when plugging it into the outlet. Then I plug it into the device, but it doesn't like to turn on. So I keep unplugging it from the device and plugging it back into the device because it seems to only turn on once in a while when the display is flashing right after plugging it in. I've only been using it for 3 weeks, 2-3 times each week. I have very fair skin and dark hair and have not noticed any reduction in hair or hair thickness yet on my chin, stomach, underarms, bikini, or legs. I was concerned that my very sensitive skin would get burned from this device- my skin does not even get red. My skin feels fine, but the device gets a bit warm. All the reviews I read before buying this device said to give it a month, so I'm still hopeful. I have stubborn hair from PCOS and my skin hates to be shaved. I do have one concern about the device- I set it at level 3, but during the treatments the device decides to increase and decrease the levels. I'm not pressing the level button, so why can't it stay on the level I set it at?

I got the unit in Nov '22 and used it for a while. I eventually let it sit because I didn't want to take the time to use it. I started using it weekly again in Jan '24. Today, Mar 1, '24. The unit does not work. The light comes on but that's all it does. This item ought to last through more than a few months of use. It did work to remove hair, it just didn't last.

I want to return my product. I emailed customer service, received an initial email asking for the reason for the return. I responded immediately and have not had a response in the last 48hrs. I am returning the product within 30 days but if they delay the response long enough, I will be out of the 30 day window. Very unhappy with the customer service. I also supplied the order number as requested so they cannot blame it on lack of information.

Terrible customer service, I was charged and sent 2 devices. I call customer service it is a medical device company selling life monitor, I could not bypass. Email and it was fail to deliver. After reading the reviews I am afraid to send back for fear I never get the refund…..$161.10. What do yo do?

Not a great experience. I wish I had read other reviews on here before making this purchase. I mailed back the overpriced product. First they kept saying they didn’t receive it- until I emailed a pic of my USPO receipt and emailed them daily. It took over a month to receive my refund. But I did get my money back.
