I don't recommend 5minskin laser hair removal machine or company. I purchased their devise end of December 2022, trusting their 90-day money back guarantee (now changed to 30) to give it a try. I received my parcel mid January, read the instructions and started using it accordingly. Within 2,5 months I didn't notice any change in my leg hair appearance, even though for 2 months I'd been using the device at max power. So I reached out and asked about the return. They first offered me half of my money and I could keep the item instead. I refused since it didn't work for me at all. They gave me the address for the return, I paid tracked shipping and sent it back before 90 days expired. My parcel made it to the destination city, went "out for delivery" and then somehow got lost. Postal clerk said sometimes companies don't scan delivered items, but it should have been delivered. For a month, I was asking 5MinSkin to check their warehouse, but they kept saying that my item was nowhere to be found. Canada post ended up issuing me a lost package payment (which was half of the value since I didn't put extra insurance on it). Then I asked 5MinSkin if they would give me half of the money back, since that was their original offer with me keeping the device. They said yes, but then right away they said they don't work with PayPal (my original method of payment) anymore, and now state that my money is stuck with PayPal suggesting that I should deal with them directly. I asked 5MinSkin to provide proof of credit, for which they gave me my original receipt and PayPal declined the claim. Maybe, it's just a chain of coincidences, but I think it's a scam, in which they have a device that doesn't do what is promised, and at the end seems that they got both: the device back and all of my money. So once again, I strongly DON'T RECOMMEND 5MINSKIN and their laser hair removal devices.

SCAM ALERT!!! FALSE ADVERTISING! Do not buy!!! They don’t actually honor any returns! They false advertise and deny you a refund! When I purchased the product they offered a 90 day money back guarantee. It stated on their website and in the pamphlet that I have from them in the mail that came with my product and they will not honor it. Even after I sent a literal photo evidence of the 90 day money back guarantee on the email to them they just keep responding with, “per our 30 day return policy..” totally disregarding the fact that they advertised this when I purchased it and send it to me in a pamphlet. They are totally ignoring the photo evidence I sent them and the date I ordered my product May 3rd. It’s been 42 days and they told me I could not return at 33. So morally wrong!! They know what they’re doing. Total scam. Keep your money.

This does not work at all. Their website says "reduction of hair growth after just 3-4 uses, then complete results after 4 weeks." This is just silly and I'd love to see the data that allows them to make this claim. The instructions that come with the device say to use it once or twice a week for up to 3 months for complete results. When I didn't notice any change after the first couple months, I decided maybe they are just exaggerating and it just takes longer. I used it 2 times per week on the highest setting for 4 1/2 months (I missed a couple times but had a total of 33 sessions). I have had zero results. A couple month ago I though maybe it's starting to grow back a little slower. So to test it, I stopped using it on part of my chest. 2 months later, I shaved the whole thing and the area that I was using the device on grew back exactly the same as the area it was not used on. So ZERO results after 33 sessions on the highest setting. I'm not a very hair person to begin with. I have light skin and brown hair. So it's not like I'm super hairy with thick, course hair. This was a total waste of time and money. They do have a return policy, but I emailed them and never even heard back. I would definitely recommend not buying this product. **UPDATE** After posting this review, the next day the company posted a response saying they were sorry it didn't work for me and although the device was past the refund date to contact them. I thought that was nice that they were trying to do the right thing. However, I left 2 emails and a voicemail over the past month and have not heard a thing back. My impression is they were trying to look good to anyone who happened to read my review but had no intention of giving a refund. So to summarize my experience with this company. -The device did not work. At all. I asked for a refund per their refund policy and within the proper time frame and was completely ignored. I left them a bad review. They responded to the review immediately saying they would do the right thing. I contacted them per their instructions to get the refund again. I was completely ignored again.

I don’t know if this is a legit place. I ordered and the order didn’t come so they finally sent another and it took a long time. I didn’t have any results at all and reached out to them and they said to try using it less and keep on trying so I did and still just NO results at all! And now they aren’t any help at all and say I can’t send it back anymore. Earlier they said they’ll do a little refund since my order took so long in coming and I bugged them again about it since they just didn’t send it. They did get it to me finally. Hopefully it’s a better experience for others. I just wish I’d never heard of them!!!

I ordered this product when it had a different name, same company, but changed the product name to 5minskin. The 1st unit worked for 2 months and stopped working. I contacted them for a replacement, which I received 9 months later. I never tried to use it until now. Took it out the box, the green light comes on, and that's it. No zap, no nothing. I really hate that I gave them 200.00. Not sure how they have any positive reviews because the product itself doesn't work. I've had 2 of them. No results because the product never worked.

The 5minskin IPL doesn't work. It doesn't do what it is supposed to do, so who knows what effects or damage it might be causing. The returns/refund policy is worthless. The customer service is a joke. Bunch of scammers. *** Regarding 5minskin's reply below: hahaha! Nothing you say is truthful! You have no genuine intention of doing anything to address my dissatisfaction. You have posted your reply below solely to make it appear (to any potential customers who are reading this) as if my experience with your company is out of the ordinary! When, in fact, you fully intend to rip-off everyone!!! Update: I opened a dispute through PayPal. The seller failed to respond and PayPal has decided the case in my favour and has taken a full refund from the seller. If you have been scammed by this garbage-merchant and paid with PayPal, perhaps you could do the same. Good luck.

Ordered this product in Dec 2022, took a month to ship and only finally shipped after I asked them to cancel the order. Tried it twice weekly for 10 weeks exactly as directed. Didn't work at all. Asked to return the product for a refund. I paid to send it back to the address they provided. Shipped March 31 2023. In the meantime they moved warehouses and had the package re-directed to their new address. The item has been waiting for them to pick up since April 21, it is now May 20 and this hasn't changed. Contacted the company multiple times and they say they will follow up and expedite the refund but nothing ever changes. Now they say I need to contact the shipping company to have it sent to their new warehouse. I followed all of their directions within the timeframe required. Do not buy from this scam of a company! Terrible product, terrible customer service. Edited to add I have reached out multiple times and each they say they'd be happy to resolve the issue but never actually do anything about it. I have reported this to the BBB and FTC in hopes of protecting others from being scammed.

It didn’t work for me. Despite I sent the device back I have never got a refund. Terrible costumer service. Stay away.
