I purchased the 5minskin hair removal product in November 2022, and received it after Christmas (despite it supposedly being sent express shipping so I’d receive it in 10 business days). The product did not work. I tried it on my own hair and three other family members tried it as well (variety of hair colours and types). I had to contact customer service over 5 times before they sent me the address for the return. I had to pay out of pocket to return the product. They confirmed receipt of the device back in January 2023, and I have followed up 22 times and opened claims with paypal to receive my refund and 5minskin has been evasive (while being apologetic), completely ignored me, or given me party lines like “someone is looking into it”, and even gone as far as to tell me that it’s been refunded. THIS IS A SCAM! I am out hundreds of dollars from this product. DO NOT PURCHASE.

I have some bad experience with this device. 1. The device gets hot when you are using in large areas like legs or arms. 2. Customer Service is hard to contact by email, they send you a lot of emails back asking you the same question and trying to don't return the item, even when you are explicit that you WANT TO RETURN IT because does not work for you. 3. When I bought the device, I received and email with my order number and with false publicity, "If you need to return your order, we will also pay for the return shipping", and when I called to request the return & refund, they said they will not pay for the shipping, and sent me an email with different process. 4. Now I will wait for my refund, hoping that they do not give me any excuse

I received my order before reading the reviews. I contacted the company the day I received it, and after 4 days of emails going back and forth, they initially refused to give me the return address, and finally did. I sent it back per their instructions, sending them the shipping receipt with tracking number and emailed them again once it was delivered. That was June 12th. I received a response the same day saying my refund was processed and I should see it in 7-10 business days. It's now been 18 days, not including Juneteenth and they haven't responded to any emails since May 12th beyond the auto response that they received it. Do not waste your money on this fraudulent company. They will steal your money and ghost you. Seriously, what company asks for a picture of the return shipping receipt? Update: I received an email showing a refund transaction, but they actually charged me again. This company is the absolute worst. I send them a screenshot showing the new charge, and that it was NOT a refund and was told to sort it out with my bank. My bank has confirmed that it was a second charge and advised me to wait until it posts and contest it.

I bought the warranty thinking if it didn't work I would be covered. That was stupid of me because after the 30 day return window (which is less days than they claim it takes for the device to work) they won't refund you, they'll only send a new device. Having two devices that don't work doesn't help me. It did absolutely nothing and I was using it twice a week. I only did one leg so I could compare and there was no difference at all after a month and a half.

I bought the product in February, trued it but haven’t been using it regularly. As summer is here I started Using it once or twice a week and it just stopped working. The phone number on the website doesn’t work, email bounced back as undelivered if you ever thought of purchasing it RUN AWAY. There are reputable brand out there this one is not it! I’m so disappointed and I’m out signing amount of $$$

Update: My warranty has not expired as per YOUR response to my BBB complaint, however the working resolution at this time is for me to return the item and get a refund. I will take the proper steps to update this review or remove once I have my refund. Much like everyone else, the company will not stand by the 90 day warranty I was given at time of purchase. I have the written warranty that came in the box with my purchase on 5/16/2023. The item does not work for me and I want to return it. They are trying to pull a bait and switch by now saying their warranty is only for 30 days. I have filed a complaint with the BBB as well. I would just like to return this item and get a refund. It is unfortunate that this company will not stand by their own warranty and that there are so many complaints about the same thing. Buyer beware!

Company refuses to offer a refund for a product shipped back brand new in box within return guidelines. No experience with the product but the company is horrible

Beware of this company. I received an IPL that looked used and it had a strange burnt smell so I decided to return it right away. First of all, their phone number does not work so there’s no way to speak to someone. I emailed them and after a couple of days they replied only to have an employee try to persuade me to keep the IPL and even offering me a 30% discount back. This customer service representative kept on emailing me (3-4 emails) just trying to offer me discounts and asking why I wanted to return it instead of just submitting my return. After all those emails, he told me I had to mail it back and PAY for the return shipping. I ended up paying almost $20 to send it back. Once I confirmed they had received my package they did not refund my money until WEEKS LATER when I HAD TO EMAIL THEM AGAIN SO THEY CAN REFUND ME THE MONEY. They’re so shady, if I hadn’t contacted them again, I would’ve never received my money back.
