I ordered a device and never received it. They said it was delivered but now I'm not sure. Never order from them. I should of read reviews about them, but I figured I'd give them a shot. BIG MISTAKE. They just say the same things in email. They put blame on everybody else when really they should be doing everything possible to fix this. SCAM!

I received my item July 6th. The second time I used it it would not power on so I returned it per the instruction given to me by customer service. The tracking info shows the company received my returned item on 7/17. It is 42 days later and I’m still waiting for my refund. I always get a prompt response to the emails I send every week or two to check on the status of my refund but they never have anything worth while to tell me. I get the usual brush off responses like they’re sending another “follow up” to request the situation be “expedited” or “prioritized” only to no avail. They did apologize once and explain that “we are receiving a huge volume of emails…we are currently experiencing delays in the refund process due to the volume of requests we are receiving”. Those statements are not something I’d want to put out there if I was trying to promote confidence in a product or company. If so many customers are returning your product that you cannot reasonably keep up with all the refund requests that’s a huge problem.

Cancelled my order and have been waiting for a refund for a month. Do not buy from this company stay away

UPD: The refund finally has been issued, but more than a month passed from the day they received the product back from me. Well, the product arrived extremely late. Then I didn't notice any results and decided to get a refund, which I've been waiting for more than a month from the day the product arrived at the company! It's unacceptable and ridiculous! The same support manager gives me the same response each time of our conversation, that "he will call the financial department to pursue this refund"! Please, just allocate some more money for a better product instead of relying on this unreliable and ineffective thing!

I purchased an IPL laser hair removal device on 2-20-23 from 5minskin online. I received an email confirmation the same day from this company with my receipt of $161.10 spent along with their "90-day money back guarantee" ("if you are not satisfied with your order, just return it within 90-days of your purchase and we will give you a full refund)" and their "free shipping and free returns" ("we offer the choice of free shipping and express shipping. If you need to return your order, we will also pay for the return shipping") policy printed on the receipt. On 5-1-23, I reached out to 5minskin via email stating that the product did not work and I would like a refund. They initially stated that it was past the 30-day return policy. When I attached my receipt proving their own policy of 90-days and that I was clearly within the time frame, they asked me to return the product and send them a tracking receipt. I again referred them back to their own policy regarding free returns and shipping and asked them for a shipping label. They then asked for a video (not part of their policy at all, but I complied) and I heard nothing back for a few weeks. I reached out again and have been exchanging emails for THREE months (5/1/23 -8/4/23); 43 emails in total. I have also tried to contact the phone number on their website and two others I found online and ALL THREE numbers are disconnected. Today, I had a "customer service representative" call me via phone to "explain" that their "back end" states they changed their policy to 30-days money back guarantee and it is past that time so no refund will be provided. I protested this to no avail. All I want is my rightful money back via a refund to the card used. I will gladly send their terrible product back if they send me a shipping label but I will not be spending my own money to ship the product back when that is not what their policy states. $161.10 is a lot of money to be out. 5minskin is TERRIBLE, UNPROFESSIONAL and a total SCAM!

Scam and terrible customer service. I am trying to return mine, it is defective - auto mode does not work. All intensity levels feel the same and like nothing. The only response I’ve gotten from them is to send a video showing it’s defective which I did immediately. Still no response on how / where to send it back. I’ll be reporting them to better business bureau soon if I don’t get instructions on return and a refund. Update - I tried working with the company to get a refund but they never helped out. Thankfully I paid on PayPal and opened a case with them and they went in my favor and are refunding me . I recommend going to PayPal or credit card company if you are having issues to get it resolved.

UPDATE 8/25/23: I still do not have a refund at all from them although they say they issued one on 8/4/23. Terrible customer service. They were not forthcoming with how to return the product so I did not realize I should have included some magical return authorization they never mentioned until I had returned the product. Now, the product was returned, but they do not honor that, nor have they refunded my money, and now are not responding back to me.

To start when I placed the order I wanted to use a method to make payments as they said I could. That feature would not populate and I ended up buying it for full price on accident trying to get it to do the payment option. Emailed customer service within 5 minutes to cancel order, they responded right away saying it was already packaged and shipped which I did not believe. Got the item and have been using it weekly since MARCH with no results. Took a risk and tested it on my tattoo and am I shaved part of my leg to see if it burnt the hair or tattoo like a real ipl would and it did not. Emailed them to see if I could exchange as this item was clearly not effective and they stated they had a 30 day policy on exchanges even though that is not listed on their site. How would you know if the item is working properly in 30 days when the directions say to give it 8 weeks. And I have given it more than 8 weeks. This is not the only ipl I have used and it does not work. I should be smelling burnt hair and be afraid to have it anywhere near my tattoos. I am terribly unsatisfied with this company and they will do nothing to help.
