I should have done more research before purchasing. Pathetic communication when it comes to deliveries. Purchase based on a promotion they had going on, but they don't live up to it.

4Patriots, LLC is an old-fashioned American success story. The company came to life at our kitchen table in Nashville, Tennessee with a notepad and pen. We had decided the soulless life of corporate America wasn’t for us, and that we wanted something more. We wanted to build something real; something that could really help people and provide real solutions to the problems that we, our families and our friends, encountered every day.Living on a shoestring budget, we used our savings to get started with our very first product, one that we knew could impact many people’s lives and get them on the road to greater self-reliance. We invested any profits we made right back into the company so we could continue to grow our business without borrowing a dime, and that’s how we continue to do business today. It might have taken us a little longer this way, but at the end of the day we’ve been able to build a thriving company that treats our customers and employees right.Today, not only do we offer a wide variety of great products that help our customers be more self-reliant and independent, but we’ve also been able to provide full-time jobs for over 200 people (and we’re still growing!). We feel blessed every day to work with such a dedicated team and to be able to impact the lives of so many people. At 4Patriots, we champion freedom and self-reliance. This is our core purpose and our mission. So how do we do it?We offer high-quality products that help our customers become more self-reliant and prepared. We follow the Golden Rule. Put simply, we treat our customers the way we would want to be treated. We strive to be a great place for great people to work.

I bought a. Lackout Buddy from 4 Patriots and had issues after a few weeks. I returned it to receive another unit that does not work properly. After multiple mails and multiply none resolution to the product they refused a Refund saying it is past the refund time. This has occurred due to there poor response time and constant changing of personnel responding. Bad customer service. I have other products from them with no issue. I am very disappointed in there responses and there interesting resolving the issue.

I made a mistake of buying a generator thwt had problems from the time it showed up. Didn’t turn on , wouldn’t hold charge. I tried to contact customer service and it was hours on hold Unfortunately I didn’t take the time to read reviews ,I’m leaving this in hopes that other people don’t make the same mistake.

The screen went blank so wouldn't show charge or anything. Called customer service and troubleshoot with no change. They will not replace the generator even tho it was never used once. Purchased in 2025. Said no guarantee after year. Do not purchase!

I only gave this company one star because I was required to leave at least one star to write this review. If I could give zero, I absolutely would. This has been one of the most dishonest and frustrating companies I have ever dealt with. It’s ironic that they have “Patriot” in their name, seemingly trying to portray themselves as a trustworthy, reputable American company. I purchased four of their Backup Buddies, which are supposed to protect your appliances. Within just a few months of installing them, two of the four units became defective and shut down both of my refrigerators, causing me to lose all the food inside. The very products I purchased to prevent this kind of disaster ended up causing it! I contacted the company multiple times to arrange a return or resolve the issue. Instead of receiving any actual assistance, I was repeatedly given the runaround. The same conversations went in circles, with no clear return instructions, no resolution, and seemingly no interest in making things right. Eventually, I disputed the charges with my credit card company. I was informed that the company had submitted some form of “proof” in response to my dispute, but I wasn’t provided with the details of what they submitted. I find that incredibly frustrating, considering I was left with defective products, two refrigerators full of spoiled food, and absolutely no resolution from the company. I will NEVER purchase from this company again. What concerns me even more is that this company heavily markets emergency preparedness and backup products. People purchase these items because they are counting on them to work when something goes wrong. If their products fail when you need them most, what good are they? Please be extremely cautious before trusting this company with your money, appliances, or emergency preparedness needs. My experience has been nothing short of a nightmare, and I wouldn’t want anyone else to go through the same thing.

I ordered the three month freeze dried food with the two months bonus food for $700. When I received the food and read the labels I found at least 17 packages had silicoaluminate in the food. This element has aluminum, a heavy metal linked with brain disease. Many of the packages had silicon dioxide listed within the first 10 ingredients, and often listed twice in the same package. Also tetrasodium pyrophosphate that research shows negatively affects the body, petroleum based food dies yellow number six and red number 40, and polysorbate 80 which is a detergent. These elements were all included in the food. Lastly, Ethoxyquin was listed in a bag of stroganoff pasta, this element having been banned in Europe along with some of the other elements already listed. The first person I worked with at 4 Patriot to return the containers said I did not need to do that but only the packages I wanted to switch out. However when I called back for confirmation to do such, another customer service agent jumped into the conversation and said I could not return the packages I could not eat and had to return the shipment. I ended up returning two large containers at approximately 47 pounds apiece for over $350. A very large loss that I did not need. However I did not research the contents of this "food" before I bought it. My health would've suffered greatly had I eaten this food that contains petroleum, genetic mutation additives, as well as detergent and other agents that are banded in Europe. PLEASE READ LABELS BEFORE YOU EAT. Do your own research on these additives and make your own decisions. There are many alternatives for freeze dried food out there. Good luck.

Where to begin... Customer support, while friendly, is completely unhelpful. They are unable to offer reasonable solutions. We purchased a generator for $1200. It would not charge to 100% without an electrical connection...against the entire purpose for having it. We were sent another box...same issue. Upon trying to return the second box I was told we were past our "return window" and could only trade in for another. We don't want another one. The purpose for us having it is for MY SAFETY...my husband frequently works overnight and I am home alone. We live in the mountains of Virginia and the slightest inclement weather causes power outages...this seemed like the perfect solution. It was not. We are thoroughly disappointed and frustrated with this product and the stringent return policy not to mention the different responses we received upon calling. I would highly recommend going a completely different route.
