I bought the gen1800 with free sidekick last year. Charged both and stored in air conditioned closet. Now the sidekick is "dead" and won't take a charge. The 1800 was still fully charged, I tested it for 3 days, went to fully charge it for the approaching tropical storm and it set off a circuit breaker in my fuse box. I reset the circuit, plugged in the 1800 again. It made a loud electrical crackling noise and blew circuit breaker again. Both units a piece of garbage, never worked and 1800 only lasted 3 days. I'm afraid it will cause a house fire. After reading all the terrible reviews from angry customers, I suggest we contact our local and federal representatives with our experiences as 4patriots doesn't seem to back their product, just leave us hanging in the wind. Perhaps a class action lawsuit is called for. I'm in!

i had a really bad experience with the 4patriots.com business. I would NEVER buy anything from them. They sold me a defective solar lantern. I emailed their customer service. Nothing. I called… and they put me on hold for 20 minutes and I hung up. Their return policy stinks. You have to pay to return, so you basically have to pay twice for a product that is defective to begin with. Products and customer service are horrible. I did get a refund, but had to take extraordinary measures to get it. I was not contacted by phone at all despite what the reply says. I will just end by saying i appreciate the refund. It was due.

So glad I checked with trustpilot before clicking Place Order. What a disaster, feel like I dodged a bullet.Feeling uneasy about the bloodbath Trump has promised when he losses so buying over $1,000 in food, plus solar batteries and a generator for my hunting cabin seemed like a good idea. After checking TrustPilot reviews I quickly changed my mind.

Customer service is less than favorable. I missed a payment due to a hacked debit card, so I issued a check to which I have not seen come thru my bank. I called them and sent them emails and all I got was emails asking for the payment. Since I had issued a check they should have received it as I wrote the order information on the check and included a copy of the invoice. They want to only receive money through debit or Credit card and are not willing to change. Check mailed to Utah service center 6-18-2024 and all they want is their money by debit or credit card which I am not willing to give them as my last card was hacked. A check was issued for the amount in question and they should find it and cash it.

Purchased the BIG deal free solar mini generator with the purchase of the larger generator. Well big generator would not charged. Called and they sent another plug. Still wouldn’t charge. Called and they said to wait 3 weeks and they would send a return box. Waited about 6 weeks. Was told that as soon as I shipped to send the tracking number and they would go ahead and send another one. I Had to box it up, load the very HEAVY box in my car and take to a fed ex location. Sent email and now waiting on a response. I live in Florida and it is hurricane season. This ordeal has been going on for approximately 3 months now.

I to purchased the generator 2000 and it broke the first time it was used . Now I to am dealing with “ oh we don’t have anymore return boxes “ . What’s wrong with returning it in the same box it was sent in ? Just mail me or email me all the paper work I would need to return it with . I can’t in good conscience recommend this company to anyone it’s one runaround after another . FedEx said there are no supply issues for this type of packaging so what’s really happening here ?

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. I have spent almost 4 weeks trying to get a box from them to ship back the Solar Generator 2000X that broke the very first time I used it! I have made 5 phone calls and chat sessions and every time I get different answers. Now their excuse is that they are out of boxes and are waiting for FedEx to send them more and they don't have any idea as to when the boxes will arrive. I call BS. What is even more worrisome, is that so many people have broken items to return that they UNEXPECTEDLY ran out of boxes for returns! They will not ship me the replacement product until I ship them the broken one, in the box that they supply. Neat tactic! Catch 22. Truly a military veteran-run operation that is familiar with CIF and equipment returns! (PS, 22 year active duty Army Infantry, RET MSG here.) If I want to get a refund, the last lady she has to take me out of the "Return box line" and put me in the "Refund line" and I would lose my spot and start over with waiting! Holy crap! Is there really that long of lines for people to get REPLACEMENT items and people waiting to RETURN ITEMS!??!! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PLACE! UPDATE AS OF 6 AUGUST So after posting here and in social media, they finally reached out to me. After another 6 messages they agreed to do a 250.00 credit and ship me a new unit after I get the box from them and ship the broken one back to them. Never got the credit and finally got a USED AND BROKEN UNIT mailed to me as a "New" unit. Still had the sticker marks on it from the return, BROKEN display cover, and scratches and dirt/dust on it. Not kidding. Again I have reached out to them through social media (seems to be the only way to through) about this debacle. Many replies and apologies later, they want to give me another credit (never got the first one!) of 100.00 and re-send me another replacement. I placed the original order on Feb 28th, spent $3100.00, and am still waiting for a unit that works! BUYER BEWARE!

Never got any of my order. Was Supposedly shipped on April 2nd 2024. I have a different phone number now.
