4Patriots, LLC is an old-fashioned American success story. The company came to life at our kitchen table in Nashville, Tennessee with a notepad and pen. We had decided the soulless life of corporate America wasn’t for us, and that we wanted something more. We wanted to build something real; something that could really help people and provide real solutions to the problems that we, our families and our friends, encountered every day.Living on a shoestring budget, we used our savings to get started with our very first product, one that we knew could impact many people’s lives and get them on the road to greater self-reliance. We invested any profits we made right back into the company so we could continue to grow our business without borrowing a dime, and that’s how we continue to do business today. It might have taken us a little longer this way, but at the end of the day we’ve been able to build a thriving company that treats our customers and employees right.Today, not only do we offer a wide variety of great products that help our customers be more self-reliant and independent, but we’ve also been able to provide full-time jobs for over 200 people (and we’re still growing!). We feel blessed every day to work with such a dedicated team and to be able to impact the lives of so many people. At 4Patriots, we champion freedom and self-reliance. This is our core purpose and our mission. So how do we do it?We offer high-quality products that help our customers become more self-reliant and prepared. We follow the Golden Rule. Put simply, we treat our customers the way we would want to be treated. We strive to be a great place for great people to work.

Have been trying to buy a Generator package for almost 2 weeks now, plenty of money on my bank card (MC), but THEIR credit card system refuses to accept it and the Bank says it’s on this companies website. The sales rep even said that others have been turned away because of this “GLITCH” in their system, so I guess I won’t be buying from this company, unfortunately

4Patriots Power Cell CX
I ordered four (4) of the 4Patriots Power Cell CX. Not one (NOT 1!) of them will fully recharge using solar energy. Plug them into a wall charger, they work great, but trying to recharge solar only does NOT work.
Response from 4PatriotsApr 16, 2026
Hi Patrick,
Thanks for your feedback. Solar charging typically takes 48–72 hours of direct sunlight, and conditions like weather and panel positioning can affect results.
That said, your experience matters to us, and we’d love to help make sure everything is working as expected. Please feel free to reach out to us at [email protected], so we can take a closer look and assist you.

Although I haven't purchased the Silver…
Although I haven't purchased the Silver Star Package, just going off the Solar Energy Generator. The description claims it can handle up to 60 watts of electricity. That equals .5 Amps. The website claims you can run your refrigerator, typically most fridges draw somewhere between 100-300 watts that equates to approximately 1.8 to 2.5 amps. That will severely overload the generator. Although i like the idea of the compact system you would not be able to run your fridge and other electrical components. Too bad

Hi Joe,
Thanks for your feedback! Just to clarify, the 60W refers to the solar panel, while the AlphaCase itself delivers up to 800W of continuous power. This allows it to run a variety of household appliances, depending on their specific requirements. We’re always happy to help if you have questions!

As advertised an emergency meals
As advertised an emergency meals. None of them do you any good if you don't have a ton of extra water and a way to cook them. I thought the meals in the kits would be able to eat without extended cooking.
Response from 4PatriotsApr 1, 2026
Hi Carrie,
Sorry for the confusion around this. The meals do need water and simmering to prepare, which is listed on the product pages. We also offer water storage options and small camping stoves that can make things easier. If you’d like, you can reach us at [email protected]
and we’ll be glad to help.

Do lots of research on solar generators before buying!
My wife read to me the review by the electrical engineer, and our 1800w generator had the same problem. AC inverter was shot. So we wrote customer service, and they basically said nothing they could do, take it to a shop. I was telling my wife, the proper thing those scammers should have done, not necessarily replace our unit—I think it was $2000, if memory serves me—but to give us a discount of what we paid, towards a new generator, and we would have paid the difference. They refused it. What we should have done was read the reviews before we bought anything from them. I am disgusted because they use the word “patriot” in their name, and being a Vietnam veteran, I thought it was a legit company that we could trust. Unfortunately we got scammed.
If you by any chance have any problems with yours, and you live in the same city that company is located, you can go to the small claims court. Our small claims court in Texas will cover up to $5000 that we can make a claim on, and what’s required for us, after we apply to the court, send them a registered letter, giving them 14 days to ratify your claim with the company. And if they don’t, you can seek litigation with them at the small claims court. You can get a lawyer to represent you or you can represent yourself. Now here in Texas, if you don’t hear from them in 14 days, the small claims court can put a lien on their second property until they reimburse or ratify the situation. So if you live in the same town, don’t discredit this situation. Small claims courts can help you. Just have them send a registered letter to the main CEO of 4Patriots. I hope that your courts are the same as ours. I’ve used them in the past, and it worked to my favor. My consolation though they screwed us, is that God knows what they did, lol, and they’re going to answer to him for it.

Hello,
First, we want to sincerely thank you for your service. We’re truly sorry to hear about your experience, and we understand how frustrating and disappointing it must have been — especially after making such a significant investment.
An inverter failure is absolutely not the experience we want any customer to have. While some issues can require third-party repair depending on timing and warranty status, we never want anyone to feel dismissed or unheard when they reach out for support. That is not the standard we aim for.
We also want to be clear: we are not scammers, and we stand behind our products. If there was any miscommunication about available options — whether warranty coverage, repair assistance, or goodwill accommodations — we would very much like the opportunity to review your case again.
Please reach out to us directly at [email protected] and reference this review. If you’re willing to share your order information, our team will personally re-examine what happened and see what resolution may still be possible.
We value veterans, we value our customers, and we take concerns like yours seriously. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

1st off I was a sucker for the newest…
1st off I was a sucker for the newest 2500x! 2nd the solar panels are the worst I've ever used! My little 300 power has a better solar panel than 4Patriots, and no, it's not a 4Patriots.
Both panels together have never given me 200w's NEVER, the most I've seen 75w's, that's BS. As for no sun, then no wattage, Um, it said even without sun it would still give something.
I have searched high and low for reviews not connected to 4Patriots and really this is the only place I found and it's still attached to 4Patriots.
The solar panels suck, but I do love the generator.

Hello,
Thank you for taking the time to share your honest feedback. We truly appreciate it.
First, we’re glad to hear you’re loving your 2500X generator. That means a lot to us. At the same time, we’re very sorry to hear the solar panels have not met your expectations. That’s understandably frustrating, especially when you were excited about upgrading.
Solar panel performance can vary significantly based on factors such as sun angle, cloud cover, temperature, panel orientation, and even cable connections. That said, consistently seeing output far below expectations is something we’d absolutely want to look into. While panels can still generate some power in indirect light, full wattage ratings are based on ideal direct-sun conditions, and if you’re not getting anywhere close, we’d like to help troubleshoot that with you.
We also understand the concern about finding unbiased reviews. Transparency matters to us, and feedback like yours helps other customers make informed decisions and helps us improve.
If you’re open to it, please reach out to us at [email protected] with your order number and “Trustpilot Review” in the subject line. We’d love to walk through your setup, confirm everything is functioning properly, and make sure you’re getting the performance you should.
Thank you again for sharing both the good and the not-so-good. We’re here to help.

I purchased the gold survival kit with…
I purchased the gold survival kit with the 1200W power generator 5 months ago. When it was time to test and possibly use the generator this weekend during the ice storm my generator didn’t work. I was told it was defective and needed to be replaced. How disappointing, so I asked for a refund to return the generator, because last minute I needed to purchase another power source and was told it was outside of the 90 day warranty. It worked when I received it 5 months ago, but when I need it to work for the first time, it’s outside of the return policy window. And I’m still making payments. Just not right. I have 2 stars because the other items in my kit are handy.

Hello,
We’re very sorry for the frustration and disappointment this situation caused, especially when you were counting on your generator during severe weather. That’s exactly when it should work, and we understand how upsetting it is to discover an issue at that moment.
We also hear your concerns about the return window and ongoing payments, and how that impacts your confidence in the purchase. While generators are covered under specific warranty and return timeframes, we still want the chance to review your case and see what options may be available to help with the replacement and overall situation.
We’re glad to hear the other items in your kit have been useful, and we’d like the opportunity to improve your experience with the generator as well. Please reach out to us at [email protected] with your order details and reference this review so our team can take a closer look and work toward a resolution.

Model 1800 generator died, 4pats will not provide schematics of internals to allw repair!
I have a model 1800 generator that i used with an appliance that was advertised to consume only 1600 watts, well within the 1800 watt max adverstised for this generator. AC Output failed with red alarm lights over output. Tech support from 4patriots says the even though the appliance rating power consumption says it should only be 1080 watts, the unofficial power consuption could be as high as 2500 watts, which means I probably fried the output circuitry of the generator. As an electrical engineer, I could debug this and fix it but 4patriots refuses to release internal schematics on the unit. Their recommendation is to take it to a repair shop and have them try to fix it, even though they refuse to documet the internal circuitry. Not sure how a repair shop will repair this without schematics. Beware! Appliance ratings are not always accurate and 4Patriots are not really interested in solving customer issues (yeah, its out of warranty but I expeted more from their technical support team other than "it broke, live with it". Time to look at alternative power solutions other tha 4Patriats for my survival needs. Buyer beware!

Hello,
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re very sorry to hear about the issues you’ve had with your Model 1800 generator and the frustration surrounding support and repair options.
Portable power stations can be impacted by real-world power draw that differs from appliance label ratings, especially during startup surges, but we understand how disappointing it is when a unit fails and you’re left without a clear path forward. We also recognize your concerns regarding repairability and documentation.
While we’re unable to provide internal schematics for safety and proprietary reasons, we do want to help however we can. Our team can review your case again, discuss potential service options, and see what support may be available based on the unit and circumstances.
Please contact us directly at [email protected] with your order details and reference this review so we can escalate it and work toward the best possible resolution. We appreciate the candid feedback — it helps us improve both our products and our support experience.
