At 3 Palms Zoo & Education Center, we're Delaware's largest zoo, dedicated to providing a fun and educational experience for visitors of all ages. We house a diverse range of exotic, domestic, and wild animals, many of whom are rescued or unable to be released back into the wild.Our mission is two-fold: to provide a loving sanctuary for animals in need and to educate the public about animal welfare and conservation. Great small, family friendly, quick stop any day of the year
The staff is always so friendly, and you can tell they care about the animals. They encourage you to ask questions and are willing to tell you all about their furry family. All money they make helps keep their rescue going, so don't hesitate to purchase food from them to feed the animals.

A great little place to get up close and personal with the animals
I took my 3 yr old granddaughter and we both had a great time interacting with the animals. We fed them and just enjoyed our time there. I'm taking another granddaughter there soon so she can experience feeding and petting the animals. One of the chickens followed us around the entire zoo like a tour guide. I thought that was too cute. The duck was talking to us very loudly and I'm pretty sure he got his point across. The guys that were there were so friendly and informative. I'm excited to go back. I recommend going as an adult and or if you have children. I also like the names they gave to the animals😁 Also, the price is inexpensive so it won't break your wallet.

This place is a scam
This place is a scam ! We drove there and it was completely dark. The sign was falling apart. I called multiple times and no answer and no online update about closing. This was a Christmas bust ! Horrible place and absolutely do not recommend this scam of a place to anyone! Do not pay online because you’ll get ripped off !!

Dear Kiara, We are so sorry to hear about your disappointing experience. We understand your frustration and sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. We understand that you purchased tickets for our event on December 20th. Unfortunately, due to inclement weather, we had to make the difficult decision to cancel the event for safety reasons. To ensure all our guests were informed, we sent an email a few hours before the event to notify you of the cancellation and offered the option to select a new date. We also posted the cancellation on our Facebook Page and updated the voicemail greeting on our phone line to inform callers of the cancellation due to rain. All guests who pre-purchased tickets were given the opportunity to select a new date for the event. We understand that this was a frustrating situation, and we appreciate your understanding. We hope you will consider giving us another chance to provide you with a positive and enjoyable experience. We currently have two remaining dates available: Friday, December 27th, and Saturday, December 28th. Great time!
Visited during their Boo at the Zoo weekend and had a blast. Owner was very hospitable and saw him several times during our visit. You get up close and personal with so many animals. Definitely worth the price of admission!
