I have used 3DCart for several of my clients switching from an old system and it has been great. It is very easy to setup and get going with the great theme selection they have and documentation. Lots of helpful apps that make setup of some features very easy. Tech support is responsive and has helped out with a few minor questions we had during the setup. Since the setup, all carts have been running smoothly and we rarely encounter a problem. As a designer I have found the templates very easy to locate and customize as well. Definitely a great cart, thumbs up!

Technical Support has rarely been helpful. We infrequently contact support, but when we have, after being a customer for 15 years or so, you would think we would be given some consideration and our issues dealt with in a manner indicating that they care about our issues. We are not given such consideration. Our questions are dismissed without any real grasp of the situation. The tech support staff, or at least the ones we've spoken with, never seem to actually know how their system works, we get conflicting information and often end up having to explain to them how their system works. It is frustrating to have to test everything yourself because no one can give you a correct answer. I often ask to speak to someone else that might be more of an expert in the area and I am never allowed to speak to someone else and eventually have to come up with my own solutions. Having bad customer support interactions really colors the way one looks at the product as a whole.

Zero Stars! I waited 25 minutes to talk to tech support on the phone. The next day tried to use chat to get an answer. Waited several hours and got a single reply asking if I was offering free shipping: My question: 'I needed to restrict shipping to California. I have done that however it appears I've restricted payment to California as well. How do I correct this so payment can come from any location? She didn't understand what I was asking. So I clarified 'Not free shipping. We can only ship to California. However we can accept payment from any location in the world. When i go to our store the drop down for payment only shows california.' Now I have waited ANOTHER 2 hours and am still waiting for a reply. Could not find an answer on their help search. Nothing in here is intuitive!

Great company to work with. I set up my own web site with no previous experience with there help.

I've been online since 2004 and previously used 3 different carts. 3dcart is by far the best for customer support. Right now I'm still in the setup phase. I'm not a programmer or developer, but have a basic knowlege of how this is supposed to work. I just love the live support widget. I can address the question or problem I'm having immediately. They are quick to respond, courteous, respectful and will usually provide a link to the Knowlege Base Article addressing the issue. Using 3dcart is a lot easier setup than some of the previous carts I've used. One of the features I like is I can set up a product template for similarly related items, instead of creating a new product listing from scratch.

We've been using 3dcart for quite a while now. And we're pleased with the service that they provide. Everyone is knowledgeable and very easy to talk to. Prompt to respond and very good on follow ups!

Would give 4.5 stars if I could :). We have a few stores with 3dcart for the past 2 years now and we are happy with their product and customer service. What I like: Store theme / UI is easy to customize. Lots of options for Promos / Coupons / Discounts. Easy to import and export data. Easy to insert your own HTML and / or JS and CSS. Integrated Newsletter / Marketing features. And once again, great customer service, which I believe is 24/7 (Although I miss the Live Chat version they used to have a few months ago). The missing 0.5 would be for some minor buglets I've experienced in their Admin portal, and for some very minor features that they don't have yet that our previous cart vendor already had. Still, thumbs up, 3d :)!

When I started selling online, I did some serious research before choosing 3dcart. Why? Because once you make a commitment, it's very difficult to switch. Now, after almost 2 years of online selling and having built multiple stores, I do not regret the decision to go with 3dcart. 3dcart is robust in its features, but relatively easy to use. Its got a great support system and their support staff answers questions quickly. All of this for a reasonable pricing structure. (Take note Big Commerce! You blew it by getting overly aggressive with your pricing structure this year. 3dcart, don't make the same mistake!) The only reason 3dcart doesn't get 5 stars from me is because some of its templated content is not up to professional quality standards, something that's easy to work around, but still, I expect better.
