Very poor quality control. Glasses arrived with one lens chipped at the bottom. Simple inspection would have revealed it. Customer service is useless. But, hey, they "understand my frustration"... International delivery is $30 every direction, so you end up with paying 3 times for shipping, almost $90. Will never make the mistake of buying there again.

I loved all the options when looking at the various models and colors. I also loved how you were able to measure your pupil distance. I think the concept of providing a means for all folks to purchase eye glasses is wonderful. I've already told numerous people at work about the site. I ordered sunglasses as a trial of the sight and now I will be ordering "regular" glasses.

It was very easy to order with lots of options. They were made and received within a week. Better than those stores in town that take longer. Absolutely great experience, and I’ve recommended to my co-workers and friends/family.

first of all I ordered glasses a month ago it took them forever to complete the order then they shipped it and tracking said it was going to be on one day it wasn't there. then when it did get there it got stolen out of the mailbox because they didn't send it appropriately where a signatures required. since I reported it to them and asked them to make me some more glasses they have done nothing but refuse and pretty much tell me it's my responsibility if something gets stolen out of the mailbox we don't have a lot of money and I bought two pairs of glasses over $500 for me in my life that was stolen they have harassed me an emails told me they're not responsible and I'm on my own. thank goodness PayPal has protections for these things because $39 glasses.com is so cheap it doesn't even put insurance on the glasses that they send you probably because the glasses aren't worth anything. I can see why they have a two-star rating at most reviews places. do not buy from this company they are terrible and their customer service is horrendous they pretty much accuse you of trying to rip them off if a package is stolen. read all the fine print before you buy from them or you will be charged enormously out of pocket for just about any warranty service. they are dirty a dirty company.

I have been a long time customer of 39dollarglasses, and have been mostly satisfied up to this point. Recently the quality has dropped off though, with glasses not lasting as long, taking scratches easier, and breaking while simply taking them off or putting them on. This last order I put in for sunglasses and glasses took a long time to come in, and when I received it there were defects in both. The glasses had a crack in the nosepiece and the sunglasses were warped in the left lens. I sent them back for a complimentary remake nearly two months ago and still haven't received them back. Customer service has been helpful, but given conflicting information. I have had to email them three times to get an order even created, and then the production time has been two times longer than they said it would be. The max was supposed to be 9 days, it's been over two weeks. They did offer me a discount on express shipping, though it would have been better if they had just paid for it. It seems like their production quality has dropped and their time has increased. Maybe they have gotten more orders lately and that is the reason, but if that is the case, they need to be upfront about that.

39 $ glasses is the smartest and best way to buy glasses, anything else is a waste of time and money. I tell everyone I know about it. I discovered them when I was having a hard time with money and now that things are better I still get my glasses this way because I still get more for my money than if I got glasses at the store inside the eye doctor's. You may think the quality would be less than the ones at the store but that is not the case. My son is hard on his glasses, he drops them, sits on them and leaves them places all the time but they stand up to his abuse and last as long as any other expensive glasses and if he looses them for good I don't feel as bad because I didn't pay hundreds of dollars for them. Don't let the doctors fool you into thinking you have to get them in their office, because they have to give you a copy of your prescription and that is all you need to order them. It's simple!
