Called bullshit fouls and wouldn't let me challenge them

Hey everyone, I wanted to share my experience and warn other players about a serious issue that still exists in WWE 2K25 and has been present in several previous games as well. Recently, in WWE2K23 my MyRise save file was completely corrupted after the game crashed during a loading screen. I didn’t manually close it, the crash just happened and when I relaunched, the save was gone. No recovery, no backup, nothing. Just endless loading. I contacted 2K Support and they replied that this happens if the game is closed during a load screen, and that the only solution is to restart the entire mode and I just lost hours of progress due to something that's clearly a known technical flaw. → You can see their response in the screenshot below. To be fair, I want to note that 2K Support was responsive, polite, and quick to reply. They were clearly engaged and tried to explain the issue, so I do appreciate their effort on the support side. My criticism is not about the staff, but about the persistent technical flaw in the game itself. This is NOT just a MyRise issue. Players have reported similar problems with Universe Mode, GM Mode, and other areas where crashes or unexpected shutdowns corrupt saves. What frustrates me most is that this problem has been happening for years and 2K still hasn’t implemented basic protections, like autosave backups or crash recovery, which are standard in many other games by now. It's 2025, and we're still losing hours of progress over a single crash? I think it’s unacceptable for a major studio to ignore this and offer no solution to players. So I’m posting this here: To warn others: avoid closing the game on any load screen, and beware of crashes. And to hear from others: has this happened to you too? Thanks for reading and be careful.

Dear 2k founders, I really like playing a game called WWE 2k23, which I know was last years game but I wanted to tell you all about my experience today and all my other experiences recently. I do want to very quickly point out that I know that this game is quite overrated and for some underrated, but still despite it being last years game, people still play it on a daily basis and they still want to play matches so maybe we can negotiate and make playing annoying video games more fun. Anyways, let me tell you about my experience right here today finished about 10 minutes ago, I was playing for about near to 1hr if not more, and I was playing several matches on and off and more. My issues include, matches crashing and going to AI for absolutely NO REASON, Not being able to access a lobby, because, I'm sorry, the WWE 2K servers (you guys) can't get me into it, going into a lobby AVAILABLE with not full yet but your stuck in there for about 10 or 15 minutes not being able to do literally anything, having a minimized time to pick your character, you know, I guess it makes sense because people take about 15 years picking ones and parts of the 'AI Problem' Using Resiliency after not being able to kickout and it crashes, Irish Whipping crashes the lobby, big shocker and here's something, being outside the ring and standing still for about 5 seconds, I NEVER KNEW THERE WAS A TIME LIMIT FOR HOW LONG YOU CAN STAND THERE FOR ,I don't get any reversals for strikes or when I go for the first move, my opponent's one connects first like kinda unbelievable and finally lagging, I am sorry, the referee has to wait for the 3 count and you have 3 attempts to kick out, but sometimes you only get 1 or 2. All of this 2K is what happened to me for the past hour. Do you know how I feel currently, drained and exhausted. This happens possibly nearly every single time I end of the game and when I go on my reaction is"I am quite excited" to not reallu and even people near me have to take the game away from me before I freak and get even more fed up and stressed. That was just today, pretty much all of this is what happens to me, possibly every single time I play this game. As I said at the beginning, this is last years game I know. I am sorry if you think this is frustrating news and my tonality is quite rude, but you need to here this from each other's perspectives because I have played WWE 2K24 and still, not always great experiences, but this is just 2k23 we are focusing on, ok? I don't want to feel angry, shouting at the screen, drained, sad, exhausted or wanting to kick it. I feel 2 is quite a generous rating even after everything I have just mentioned to you. I know I have been banging on for a while but I just want this to be a fun environment, even for rude people on the game (Not your fault that one), everyone should be able to be playing the matches for fun, not in anger. Thank you for reading this and not being rude, but I would like some changes done in this game please. Also, people do spend £50 and more include 2K23 AND 2k24 so they want their money and value to be worth every single penny.

It has been rough lately. Not like it used to be.

The game is the same for the last 5 or 6 years and the game play is trash

It feels like 2k stopped caring about there games they know people are going to buy it regardless I used to love 2k me, my boys, my cousins used to hold 2k events and now it's so glichy who would have thought every year before would be better than the year afters game you were going in the right direction then just stopped caring. The My Career you no longer can play offline which kinda sucks when you move alot and you have to wait days to play my career. Very upsetting. I hope they do start really trying to get the game back on track. I still play but my friends and cousins all left to go play Madden, and Fortnite. Come on Ronnie let's get back to the old vibes! You still could manage to make your money off the PGA game, or any other games you might be associated with but one game at a time I feel like your investing in all the great games coming out but they all come out around the same time which make it hard to just focus on the ones that are bringing in the most money much love to the 2k family and Ronnie himself let's make basketball great again 😂 nah I'm tripping on that but let's go boiiiiiiiiis I trust the process 💪
