I have been on the phone today for over an 1 1/2 hours, on 2 different calls, waiting to speak with customer service regarding my recent flea medicaton order. I should not have to wait that long to speak with someone. Hire more people please! I called yesterday and waited about 30 minutes to speak with someone and the rep did not do what she promised. Check the notes. Hence, the reason why I had to call back twice today. Precious was great and did what she said she was going to do and she even called me back when we got disconnected. I give Precious 5 Stars.

Useless. They still FAX requests for prescriptions even though many vets don't want to maintain equipment from the early 90s. So if your vet communicates via email and not fax, you need to send the prescription up front. Why up front? Because emails to PetMeds bounce back, their chat has been down for 2 days, and there's no way to upload a prescription after you've placed your order. If you call them, you're on hold for over an hour and if you do end up getting connected, you're told to "just email it in" and when you say that it bounces back you hear "just try again. sometimes that helps." A complete waste of time! Updated reply after vendor response: I'm sure you do have a higher call volume since your chat has been down for 2 days now (at least). Also, in speaking with the vet, they've repeatedly told you they don't have a fax machine so your contacting them for prescription verification via fax only isn't going to do anything. I know you require prescriptions to fulfill medicine. So why don't you let me upload one after the fact (since I am able to contact my vet via email - something you apparently are unable to do)? Let me help you where you can't help yourself (apparently). I know your goal is to soften the 1 star rating, but in reality your response was little more than a copy+paste from your organizations "little book of excuses". Be better. I've taken the time to point out just a couple of things to address in order to do that. Update #2: The chat functionality is still down. Day 4. But "PetMeds cares." Sure it does. Update #3: Live chat functionality is finally up. Also, I got an email from PetMeds saying they reached out to my vet (via phone or email) and got the prescription verified. This took entirely too long and I ended up having to buy local because I won't get them in time (I thought ordering 10 days before needed would be sufficient...). BUT, I will give back an extra star and have changed the title of the review because in the end they made it happen and I do hope they improve.

I started ordering from this company several months ago as I saw an ad for coupon codes and great discounts. Note that they say exclusions apply. My cats eat Fancy Feast which are 99% of the time an exclusion. I just got an email now with $55 off orders over $110...its very easy to spend that much so thought I would check it out. I dont even know if Fancy Feast is excluded because just about every FF item was out of stock....which is absolutely nothing uncommon with Petmeds. Just really aggravated and disappointed

I ordered flea and tick prevention that needed approval from my vet. It's taken me over 3 weeks to receive my dogs medication because Pet Meds has no longer been contacting my vet when prescriptions are requested. At least it was only flea and tick meds ordered and not something more serious like heart meds. 3 days after my vet finally processed it they gave me an arrival date of a week away.

I was satisfied with Pet Meds correcting their error of sending out an email telling me my pets medication had shipped only to find out it had not. I called Pet Meds. I was told the medication would be sent overnight delivery. I just now found out the medication won’t be here until MONDAY. My pet has been out of medication for several days due to the erroneous email and now the delay in the supposed overnight delivery. Had I known how unreliable Pet Meds was I would have gone to my veterinarian and gotten an RX to hold my dog over. At this time I am pretty dissatisfied with Pet Meds.

The person was exceptionally helpful the changed process of getting price matching was not. I have been ordering my pets meds for over 5 years and just recently the way price matching works now takes over a week of calls and wasted time. Please streamline the process and give your salespeople more authority to price match. Todays call was the third one to try and price match and it lasted 52 minutes where it used to take one phone call and 5 minutes.

I used an online app that partners with this company to provide prescriptions for your pet. Unfortunately the vet don’t send prescriptions to pharmacy. I paid to expedite shipping due to my cat condition needing to be treated right away. The prescription order was placed on Thursday night and it’s Wednesday and I’m still waiting. My cat condition got a lot worse. I texted yesterday with customer service and it was not useful. At least they should have refund me what I paid for the 2nd day shipping. If I knew this in advance I would have taken my sick cat to the urgent care instead. I don’t have the extra money to do that now. My poor baby is going blind. UPS is also to blame and that’s why I’m giving this company 2 stars.

Absolutely awful system. Takes an hour to place an order and then when you reach the end it tells you there is an error accepting the credit card. Variety is good, but the online system is effed.
