I've spent hundreds if not 1000s of dollars with this company over the past few years but will not be doing any more business with them going forward. In my last purchase, the sales rep recommended I buy their private label flea medicine for my cat. She told me it had the same ingredients as Frontline at half the price. Having used Frontline in the past, and knowing how effective it is, it was a no-brainer decision, so I ordered 2 boxes. Unfortunately, the company brand is not effective at all and now my cat and my home are infested with fleas! It can be costly and time consuming not to mention extremely inconvenient to fumigate my house, but guess how I'll be spending my weekend? I'm not happy and wouldn't even be in this situation if they hadn't pushed their poor quality product on me. Then to add insult to injury, they are giving me the runaround on trying to return the unopened box. And the rep I spoke with never even apologized for these issues. Hopefully this review will serve as a warning to other potential customers to only buy products you are absolutely sure about because you won't be able to return anything even if it's unused. Better yet, think twice about buying from this shady company in the first place. Going forward I'll be shopping with chewy instead.

First of all I got charged a shipping fee after the whole big shabang of free shipping free shipping which is not that big of a deal but not once not twice three times after that I'm getting $4.99 charge for 99 charge etc I gave my credit card number against my better judgment so I could get antibiotics for my cat I told them and I'm telling everybody who's reading this

Do you like a company that takes no responsibility for their mistakes? Does not follow up with you? Is two weeks late just to ship something hats life altering for your pet? Get strong armed by customer service when you contact them that refuses to provide any kind of information when you call in for a status update and like children just blamed you for their poor service? 1800petmeds is for you! It took 2 weeks just to get them to print a label for my order and an addition week just to get it into shipping. I'm absolutely livid and they just threatened to cancel my order when I asked for. Status update?!!

I’m a long time customer but no longer. Placed an order today for refills for my pet’s routine meds. Next thing I know, I’m enrolled & being contacted by a 3rd party entity called Vetster because of Petmeds sharing my information.

rude rude rude. put the wrong dog’s name on my $247 order and refuses to correct so i can’t submit to insurance. unnecessarily difficult and completely inept. charged tax on a nontaxable item. just nasty.

Wish I'd looked on TrustPilot before spending 2 hours trying to get my order to go through. It was NOT a prescription, just a specialty food. Wouldn't accept payment of any kind, not even Paypal. Error code at the end like another reviewer in Dec said. It is now Feb and they still don't accept payments. Can't stay in business if people unable to pay. Customer service says they no about the online problem, yet they don't fix? What happened to this company? They use to do well. Don't waste your time like I did. All good things come to an end.

A complete “bleep” show. A very simple order for eye drops has turned into a circus. Customer Service Reps abysmal, told I had to physically mail in the script, which all know means at least a month before it gets to my door. Is this the 1980’s? told my vet could fax or call it in. Then again told they would reach out to the vet themselves. Have received a dozen or so emails , each one saying something different. Avoid at all costs, not worth the extreme hassle to save a few bucks. Thus company is a COMPLETE JOKE and should be ashamed of itself, especially when pet owners are already stressed due to pet ailments. Shame on PET MEDS. Stay away …

Avoid! Company is a fraud. I ordered online, paid with paypal and got confirmation email. Two days later got an email that I needed to call in to confirm my order and verify my payment method. I cancelled the order and waited a day and tried again. The exact same thing happened. I then had 3 different friends try to place the order. The same thing happend to all of them. I contacted customer service and was told they make all first time customers call in. I asked why this was not disclosed on their website anywhere. They falsely allow customers to make online orders with no intention of fullfilling the orders. They send a confirmation order still with no intention of processing the order. This company is a fraud and has very deceptive business practices. The customer service reached out to me and said it was just a "mistake" when the customer service representative said all first time customers had to call it. It seemed she accidently said the quiet part outloud. I am referring my complaint to the FTC for deceptive business practices and fraud.
