I booked a trip from Charlotte, NC to Venice, Italy which was confirmed and paid for. On the basis of that I booked a flight on a different outbound flight and same return flight for my wife, which was confirmed and paid for. One hour later I got an update saying that the price of my flight was increased by $120. I called 1800FlyEurope and was told that my options were to accept or cancel. How can you gazump a flight that was Confirmed by e-mail within an hour ?

I have my tickets and I'm grateful. Thank you. I was satisfied using your service up until the point of reading my email. I am not thrilled about the fact that I thought those reservations were with Virgin Airlines, and in fact, they are with American Airlines. You might want to look at how you have labeled what airline is being used. When I made my reservation, it clearly said Virgin.

Within the same hour of me booking my flight to Madrid out of JFK, I referred a friend who purchased her flight out of JFK to Madrid within 24 hours. Instead of the website rewarding me for the referral, I was punished by paying $200 more than my friend with the exact ticket.

I do show that we sent both the confirmation details (with pricing and terms and itinerary) and your electronic ticket receipt within minutes of your purchase to the email address entered online. Often emails with attachments or from unknown senders are blocked or sent to your spam/junk folders. I went to the website and bought round trip tickets from New York City to Milan. They charged my account and then about an hour after I got an e-mail asking for me to call them. It turns out that part of the trip they were planning to sell me (one leg of the return flight) they didn't actually have the rights to sell. They didn't have anything at a comparable price to offer, even with some flexibility in dates. So really they just wasted a bunch of my time with non-existent tickets.
