Wow. I see a lot of negative reviews on here. I never completed my order because after being rejected for the online vision test due to my age, I had my purchase in the cart but a friend told me they'd been able to get their contacts without the test. So I did a chat with 1800 contacts ( just a couple days later) and was told that they can contact my doctor and if they approve ( it was an expired RX) I can order. I had to leave the chat to double check something on the price. When I went back, the new agent said she could see my information but that I was "misinformed "as to my dr. being contacted. Apparently they were doing that last year due to covid but no longer would do it. I wasn't real happy but said I'd get my exam and go back to order. Then we discussed price and she quoted $45 more than what I'd found on the site ( it was still in my cart) . She said that was " misinformation" ( again !). Seems like a lot of that going around ! When I responded with dismay she did agree to send order expedited mail at no charge. But I never completed the order because I found better price on another site and also I felt like I was being " misinformed" a bit too much ! Now I'm glad I didn't order after seeing all the bad reviews.

They have good contacts but don’t pay the additional $20 to get them overnighted. They don’t arrive and the people at the call center try to make excuses. Just provide the service you are charging for.

Their rebates used to be helpful now they are a scam. They used to send their rebates as checks and it was super easy, now they send it by 'prepaid debit card' which you have to register on a third party website "MyPrepaidCenter" and provide them your personal information. After all that, when you try to register the card (before the expatriation date) it's rejected. They seem to be trying to make it so challenging to access the rebate that you give up so they can keep your money. Not using them again.

I ordered a different brand of lenses this time around, 1800contacts had given me a free trial lens pack in the past so I thought I'd give them a try because they are a little bit cheaper due to being made by 1800contacts. In order to purchase the new brand of lenses I had to take an express exam for the new prescription, which I did. When I got the new lenses, they were awful. I couldn't wear them for more than a few minutes because it was too painful. Then I noticed that while the power was the same, the size of the lens was tiny in comparison to my regular lenses. I don't even know how 1800contacts can sell me lenses that don't even fit on my eye. Their customer service has always been great in my experience, but I still had to pay 7 dollars for shipping to exchange the lenses for my normal brand. I feel like they will do anything to separate you from your money, even prescribe you lenses that don't fit.

OK Site. The rebate process is necessarily difficult (they give you the discount assuming you won't mail something back to them). When I contacted them, they pretended to look up other options. They won't offer a straight up discount.

Beware if you order online. For some bizarre reason - that 1800 contacts can not account for- I received two sets of contacts my current prescription (photo sent) and my past prescription -which was expired and I clearly did not order. Needless to say i was charged for both -called 1800 contacts - now its my responsibility to go to post office and send back - multiple calls after 1800 received the erroneous contacts back I have yet to be refunded 120.00 Told to wait 10 days! Totally unacceptable, and would not recommend. Tremendous aggravation and not worth it!

Ok I'd give them 5 stars if it weren't for their sleazy marketing practices, which I have complained to them about multiple times and they still keep doing this. When you go to your account and click on "re-order" - they automatically add a whopping 3 extra boxes to your order! I have never ordered more than one box at a time - I wouldn't order 4 boxes at a time because I cannot afford it. When I say "re-order" I mean re-order EXACTLY what I ordered before - which is one box. If I'm doing this on my phone, I sometimes miss that they have done this and suddenly get a whopping charge for hundreds of dollars on my credit card for 4 boxes. I have complained repeatedly about them adding extra boxes to my order without my permission to no avail. They do it every time. They also BOMBARD you with emails telling you it's time to re-order when you still have plenty left. The contacts come fast, they send the right kind, and it's free shipping - but I cannot take their unethical marketing ploys so am looking for a different company.

I used them years ago and had no issues. Recently used them again with a new prescription and nothing but problems! They say they will confirm your prescription with your doctor but obviously they do not because despite me confirming that, they sent me the WRONG PRESCRIPTION not once but TWO times! I honestly can't believe it, I can't even use them anymore it's so ridiculous, whoever's running things now really screwed things up
