REBATE IS A SCAM They claim that you must turn by 8 weeks and then they don't pay. They claim that they never received it and then stated since you waited 10 weeks for the rebate, the time has passed. DO NOT USE THEM ...PAY MORE A LITTLE MORE AND GET THEM FROM OTHERS DEALERS. REBATE IS A SCAM . I am having the Florida District Atty;s office look into this a scam and mail fraud.

My first order with this company was fine. They then proceeded to barrage my inbox with warnings to order soon before my prescription expired. They originally told me they would only allow me to circumvent my doctor one time, but apparently they are ok with doing it again to get me to re-order. So I re-ordered. The contacts kept ripping after one measly day of use. I went through a box in no time. I looked at the expiration and discovered they sent me contacts that were due to expire shortly after my order was placed. Poor form, 1-800 Contacts. You have lost a customer.

Needed contacts right away, Paid $19.99 for overnight shipping - 2 days ago. ETA - 2 days from today, making the overnight shipping that I paid for take 4 days. Will not be ordering from them again.

Their rebate program makes it seem it is applied automatically, but in reality it is an arduous process, in the hopes that you won't notice or won't bother. It's incredibly and intentionally inefficient, and it reveals the 1800-contact management as the greedy scoundrels they are.

They promise you a rebate but the process is very convoluted and cumbersome hoping that you don't take advantage of it. Link they send is unable to print and they will not process it over the phone.

This is my first order with this company, I thought this would be a cheaper & more convenient way to order contacts than where I had my eye exam. Customer service & shipping has been an issue, would never try to purchase from them again & I would not recommend them to anyone else. Originally, I placed my order 11/09/18. I was having issues with the website at checkout. I tried paying with PayPal, website rejected this payment form. I paid with my own card, it was accepted, but website somehow pulled an old address from my PayPal account for shipping that was different than the address I manually entered. I received shipping confirmation the same day, I noticed the address error & I notified the company of the issue within an hour of the same day. The company replied within the same day, they would send my order to the correct address so I provided the correct address. I never received a response or order so I followed up with customer service on 11/23/18, they apologized for not reviewing my email with the address & they would get my order sent right away. I receive an order confirmation, customer service said I should receive my order 11/27/18. So 11/27/18 passes, no order was received. 1-800-Contacts calls me multiple times during work & emails me on 11/28/18 that they are unable to verify my prescription so they will have to cancel my prescription if I cannot verify my prescription within 24 hours. I don't understand how they were able to ship my first order to the incorrect address if they were unable to verify my prescription? I asked that 1-800-Contacts cancel my order & provide a full refund, this is still pending. I recommend looking into Walgreens for contacts before ordering through 1-800-Contacts, I found my contacts for a much lower price & less hassle.

I’ve been ordering from 1-800 contacts once a year and this year I’ve learned my lesson to never do it again. Last year, I received the wrong lenses. This year, 2 new offenses committed. Not only was the next day shipping not next day shipping, but 2 out of the 6 contact lenses in the box I received were missing. If you’re fine with 66% accuracy and late orders then search no further, 1-800 contacts is for you! If you prefer accuracy, go elsewhere for contacts.

I submitted my prescription that is valid for one year, but is only a few months old. After waiting a week, they capriciously rejected it on the absurd grounds that it isn’t valid, but it definitely is. Don’t waste your time with these clowns.
