This company is awful!! I usually order through Walmart and have had NO ISSUES; then I go and try to order from this UNPROFESSIONAL company..paid for expedited shipping cause I was out and have gotten nothing but the runaround!! My contacts were shipped somewhere else and then when they supposedly fixed it and sent them through 1day shipping again I never received anything! This company is a damn joke and I will NEVER use them again and will make sure everyone I know knows how they are!!!

Terrible contacts. I ordered from the website a couple of weeks ago and the contacts were promptly shipped. I’ve used the same brand with the same prescription for years. I normally get my contacts through my local Walmart and have never once had any problems with my contacts fitting and staying in my eyes. I use the daily’s and was excited that the company had my lenses at a lesser price than I normally pay. I got the 90 day bundle and I can’t begin to tell you that I only have a 30 pack left. These contacts don’t fit, they’re larger than the other contacts from Walmart. I wasted my money on these! I’m ready to throw them out as they don’t stay in my eyes for more than an hour’s time. I will never order from this website again

I have purchased contacts from 1-800 contacts on 5 separate occasions. The first time I ordered was June 20th and with that first pack alone, I should still have contacts by now (September 8th). BUT NO. They have stolen my money from me by giving me cheap/RIPPED contacts. The only reason why I continue to buy them is because I am in between eyedoctors right now and my prescription is -7.00 in both eyes. So, needless to say, I am desperate. I often have to go a day or two without wearing contacts because I CAN NEVER PREPARE HOW LING EACH BOX WILL LAST ME. For reference, my last box arrived 7 days ago. SEVEN DAYS AGO. And I just had to purchase more. Each pair of CONTACTS ARE SUPPOSED TO LAST A MONTH and THREE PAIRS COME IN EACH BOX. THAT IS SUPPOSED TO BE THREE MONTHS. This place is such a scam. NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVR EVR BUY FROM 1-800 contacts. I ALSO DONT WANT A CUSTOMER REP TO COME AT ME SAYING SORRY BECAUSE I WILL NEVER TAKE EVEN A LIFETIME SUPPLY OF THESE STUPID SH**S. DONT EVEN APOLOGIZE JUST QUIT YOUR JOB.

They shouldn't lie about eye doctors on their website. I am an optometrist. I price contact lenses within $0-$5 of 1800's pricing. I offer contact lenses from every brand. I offer rebates and take care of my patients who have problems. I do not accept kick backs from companies because contact lens companies do not do that. I have an ethical, legal and medical obligation to take care of my patients. 99% of eye doctors are just like me. Here are some facts: 1800contacts is part of a special interest group with Costco and lens.com and they spend millions of dollars each year on lobbying. their first special interest group was accused of fraud so they shut it down and formed another special interest group that does the same thing but with a new name. 1800 buys contacts cheap in bulk from places like india. they sit in big shipping containers in the heat during shipment for days to weeks. so, there is a better chance the contacts are not as sanitary from online retailers than your local doctor who does not buy in bulk. they are a retail store. they are not an eye clinic. "online eye exams" do not perform the standard of care required to take care of you. no eye doctor would accept these "exams" as legitamite. 1800 pays a retina doctor at vanderbilt to use his signature. he doesn't even fit contacts or check prescriptions. between 2011-2015 about 150-160 legitamite complaints were filed concerning eye doctors releasing contact lens prescriptions. that's about 2-3 complaints per month over a 5 year period. there are about 40 million contact lens wearers in the US. so, 3.33 million people update their contact lens prescriptions monthly. that means 2-3 people out of 3.33 million have had issues with their doctor from 2011-2015. i don't think that amounts to "50% of eye doctors still fail to comply with the law and don’t release prescriptions"(straight from their website). that statement is fraudulent. 1800 and online retailers are only interested in commoditizing a medical device and making money off of consumers. they have no ethical, legal or medical obligation to consumers. they are on record stating that contact lenses do not cause medical complications and that your eye doctors are fabricating such. It is illegal to substitute and/or give people contacts that are not prescribed but they do it. This is why 1800, warby parker, Hubble, etc have bought the rights to old contact lens materials to rebrand and sell to you. It is in their financial interest to switch you to something they can make more money off of. So.....don't buy into the online marketing. Your eye doctors are there to take care of you. Support them and other local businesses. They are the ones hiring your friends and family. They are the ones who have your best interest at heart.

they scammed me by sending email with the type contacts i wear after placing the order they hit my credit card then said i needed a prescription, i have no prescription, putting a hold on my card if they don't refund, don't order from these scam artist

1-800-CONTACTS sent me the wrong prescription contacts (+8 instead of -8) and I had to book an eye examination because I thought there was something seriously wrong with my eyes. Within seconds the doctor told me I had been given the wrong prescription and gave me a pair of the correct lenses. She advised me to contact 1-800-CONTACTS about receiving a reimbursement for the unnecessary eye exam. I paid $65 just to be told this company made a mistake. I reached out to 1-800-CONTACTS and they told me they were unable to reimburse me, but would offer 10% off a future purchase. I will not be using this company again. They refused to right their mistake and I ended up having to pay for it.

ABSOLUTELY UNPROFESSIONAL ISSUES IN PAST TRIED AGAIN AL ABOUT MONEY LIED TO ALONG WITH MY DOCTOR 10 TIMES TODAY: KAYLA PAGE IAN AARON HORRID MY MD WAS TOLD TO CALL IN ON THIS HOLIDAY WEEKEND no MD CALL LINE : RUDE PLATITUDES DISMISSING COULD THEY COULD NOT UNDERSTAND I AM BLIND NOW I HAVE NO CONATCT LENSES LOST MY MD FROM HELPED SO MUCH BUT IAN KAYLA ALL FAILED ALONG WITH AARON THEY ARE ALL WORKING FROM HOME LAZY WOULD NOT PULL UP PRIOR MD AND ORDERS FOR ME ONLY 2 YRS AGO .. THEN I REMINDED THEM OF HIPPA EMR RECORDS NEED TO BE KEPT ' LIES THEN SAID ' OH YES WE FOUND YOU MD NAME HAVE MY OLD ADDRESS FROM 17 YRS AGO ANGRY THAT I HAVE ASKED TO CORRECT THAT THEY STATE IT IS SO HORRID .WE RECORD EVEN BEFORE SAYNG HELLO UTAH BASED COMPANY SO UNETHICAL SO HARMFUL THEN WE FEAR RETALATION OF THIS COMPANY NEVER ORDER AGAIN 4 HOURS TODAY ALLRUDE REPS WORKING FROM HOME WHILE MY MD DR M HAS HELPED BUT THEY DO NOT CARE MORE ERRORS MORE LIES MORE LAZINESS WHILE DUE TO EMERGENCY I CANNOT SEE

I never received my rebate and have been following up with their customer service for months. Every time I contact them, they tell me to keep waiting and that the rebate takes a while. Finally, today when I emailed them again, they said someone already used my rebate gift card at several random stores. It's obvious the customer service reps I contacted earlier never bothered to check on my rebate status. I then called them to confirm my address, and they confirmed that they sent the rebate card. I just checked my USPS Informed Delivery around the date they supposedly sent it. Informed Delivery shows all mail sent to my address (even if the mailman accidentally delivers it somewhere else), and nothing from 1-800 Contacts around that time. Either they never sent it or sent it to the wrong address. They refuse to send another card and implied that I was lying. They offered a discount on my next order to try to get more of my money, but there will be no next order from me. Order your contacts somewhere else! It's obvious they just want your money and don't care about customers at all. From reading other reviews, it sounds like the rebate may be a marketing scam.
