Worst customer service ever! I placed my order 10 days ago and after checking online, found that they’d deleted my order. My prescription had expired and nobody bothered to let me know. They called a phone number that isn’t mine, didn’t get an answer, and deleted the order. Didn’t even bother to send an email to the address that they HAD ON FILE and used to send my order confirmation. And the only thing they had to say was they would provide overnight shipping. Seriously?! I just wasted 10 days waiting for you to do your job and that’s all you have to say. Take your business elsewhere!

If I could give less than one star I would. This company is TERRIBLE ! I have been waiting for over 3 weeks for my lenses, and get the same answer “it will be 1-2 business days”. How can that even be true?! They claim they will reimburse me, but after reading these other reviews, I doubt that will happen! I understand that there have been delays with Covid, but don’t lie to people! I will never purchase through them again!

Never shopping from 1-800-contacts or dealing with AfterPay EVER AGAIN!!! Neither want to take blame or admit who messed up my order. AfterPay cancelled my payments and issued a refund bc supposedly 1-800-contacts cancelled the order all together. They said it was a system error on 1800contacts end. When I spoke to 1-800-contacts, they said AfterPay cancelled the order bc the order has taken 30 days to ship out. I was already annoyed in their delay of shipping out times. I don’t want to get charged the full amount by 1800contacts before the refund from AfterPay hits my bank. The order is still showing as processing/not cancelled in 1800contacts system and could ship out in the next few days or so. My advice is STAY AWAY FROM 1-800-CONTACTS!!!

They are the worst!

They suck! They lie about your delivery date, charge you credit card and then you have to wait. Literally had a bobble head tell me that my order was shipping today and was set to deliver on the 16th. Ummm dummy that’s TODAY. They ship out of NC and I’m in central Florida. She said uh huh UPS will fly it to you. (Yep, she said ‘fly it to you’). I asked in what, a drone?!? After explaining it is 10 hours between warehouse and my house - she sounded dumbfounded. They have my money and I don’t get contacts until they verified my prescription - which they have had since 2019! Records are shoddy, customer service is not educated and obviously geography is no ones strong point. I mean....it’s ONLY my eyes, right!? Last order From them EVER!!!

I ordered & paid for normal contact lenses and they sent me the sample boxes. When I called and said they were the free samples that I used to get from my old optometrist, they said, oh but the contacts are the same. I said yes, they are the same, but you (800 Contacts) get the samples free from the company. They would not send me the normal contacts and they would not refund my money. This is a scam!

Tried to order 10-12-20 and it was nearly impossible to work with the price match and customer service. Normally the customer service rep would ask you what you are seeing online, they say yes I see it, but they charge a fee or freight and then we would go onto the next one to find the best deal. They would normally just handle it and no worries. Never have I ever been on the phone for more than 15minutes. It was always easy peasy. Today was awful, the guy I spoke with told me they can only look up two sites. You have to specifically tell them the site and the one I asked about was for a 15pk, not a 30pk by mistake, so I ask to look up the 30pk which was the size we were referring to for the whole call and give him the site, he comes back to tell me that the charge is double for the 15pk. So I say there must have been a miscommunication and he says he needs a specific site to now look up the 30pk pricing, comes back and says that particular site has a processing fee of $31/so your cost is $31 more than what they contacts were at the discounted rate. Now I've exceeded my two look ups and now I would have to send a literal photo of a checkout on someone elses site and email or text that to them in order to get a price match discounted rate LOL. I have never felt like I wasted my life on a call, but I know how it feels now. So odd, I have purchased from these guys for 10years and this is the best they got? In the end I did not order, I just tried to stay calm and said I would call back another time, hopefully when this person was not at work?

Poor communication, poor customer service, and paid for next day shipping that took over a week. Garbage situation.
