2 stars instead of 1 because technically they did get me a lower price - just not with them LOL!! I spent 20 minutes on the phone trying to get them to price match and all they did was help me find 4+ other websites that all beat their price by $10+ and they still wouldn't price match. She kept saying "we only match the box price" but I kept reading their policy word-for-word that they will beat any special discounts as long as they're available to everyone. She said " we only match cart prices" and "we only match the box price" and "these deals aren't available to everyone " when the website said (in bold red) that it was a website sale AKA available to all!! She priced my 2 boxes of contacts for a total of $152.57; the prices she helped me find were $146.28, $141.86, and $119.35

I ordered from Lens.com a month ago & paid $68.74 per box x 4 boxes for a total of $274.96 + tax was $342.87 + $9.95 shipping with a $75.00 rebate which brought the total to $277.87 after rebate. 1800 Contacts said they could match that but instead added tax on top of the Lens .com price of $342.87. The total with tax & shipping was $378.61 minus the $75.00 rebate came to $303.61 so I paid $25.74 more than Lens. Com ordering through 1800 Contacts. Never again

I normally love 1800 Contacts, but this msg be the last time I order from them. I did their online eye exam, only to have to retake the picture portion because the optometrist who looked at the first round of pictures didn’t like them. I called 1800 Contacts to figure out why, and talked to Cassandra. She told me to “open your eyes more.” That’s racist! I’m sorry I have eyelids that covers my eyes like everyone else. I retook the pics, and they were magically accepted. I’m so over stuff like this going on with them. We’ll see if my contacts arrive on time.

Used this brand ever since I started using contacts about 3 years ago. Never had any problems until this year. Customer service on the live chat is very rude and unprofessional. The biggest hint of their lack of unprofessionalism was lack of punctuation and capitalization of letters at the beginning of a sentence. I was very polite clearly explaining my issue and was completely disregarded and told that I would not be able to use the prescription I had to buy the brand I wanted. On my prescription, there is a recommended brand written but I was told by my doctor that I was able to get the brand I usually get if the recommended one does not work for me. I decided to keep using the brand I’ve been using. Ordered a box of contacts with that same prescription and the first time I did so, I had no issues. The second time, I got my order canceled 3 times due to “wrong brand” being bought when compared to my prescription. Third time, I was told that my prescription was expired. That’s when I talked to an agent on live chat. They were very rude, dismissive, and very unprofessional. I am very disappointed to let go of a store that I’ve been using for so long but, I am never buying from this store again.

Supposed to be delivered on March 1st. Waited all day to receive them. No communication was provided to let us know they were not coming. They were not delivered. Next they were not able to be picked up so stayed around waited till 415 pm. I gave instructions on what do. Instead they left a slip in the mailbox while we were away. Re-Scheduled a delivery for March 4. Waited all day and the package never came. Had to go to external location to pick and of course going to this pickup we were not expecting to take left us stranded for a couple hours when the car broke down.

This company is guilty of appearing that a new customer can get a 30% discount on the first order. Great! Then as the ordering process continues, they ask if you also want your insurance applied to the order. Of course, I thought, it’s one less thing I need to do later. BUT, then the total of the order appears and it’s munch higher than it should be considering the discount plus the insurance allowance. So, I contacted Customer Service, to be informed that they cannot apply both (“for some reason “), so they REMOVED the 30% discount ($191), and kept my insurance discount of $150. This is UNSCRUPULOUS business practice- the customer service representative was either naive or complacent, I’m not sure which. I remedied the situation but how many customers just go ahead and buy and accept that they don’t get the discount as advertised???? The BBB and department of consumer affairs should be aware.

To do the online eye exam they want my location and access to my camera and a picture of my face LOL Absolutely NOT! Bye!

If you have a PO Box don’t expect to get your order. Everyone I spoke to in customer service seemed helpful and kind however they admittedly dropped the ball on placing my order 3 times and the 3 orders they did place never made it to my PO Box. They said the expedited and express do not deliver to PO Boxes but their standard shipping does yet I never got the order through standard either. I have orders sent to my PO Box through other companies and never had a problem. I won’t ever deal with this company again.
