Horrible service! I ordered my contacts 3 weeks ago and i still have not received them. They sent me an e-mail stating it shipped on 07/08 we are now on 07/21 and still have not received anything. I tracked shipping info and it was back and forth between NJ and Florida. This company is a joke do not order from them. Karen Chavez

I ordered contacts ($500) 3 weeks ago. Was notified I would have them within a week. It’s been 3 wks and 2 phone calls snd NOTHING. Last call I was told I would definitely get them no later than 3 days that they would overnight them…. That was OVER a week ago. Still no communication from them. DO NOT BUY THROUGH THEM. I will now be taking other actions to try to get my $500 back.

Excerpt from 1800Contacts response, "Our price matching policy states that we honor pricing based on the website's actual cost per box, including any hidden fees or charges that website may include. We cannot honor special discounts offered by competitors or offered through paid search as a promotion. These discounts and promotions are not consistent across competitors. This inconsistency makes it impossible to provide fair price matching to all of our customers which is why we do not allow discounts or promotions when price matching." Come on people, read through these words. A bunch of gobbly goop. The bottom line is other competitors offer lower pricing on contact lenses. 1800Contacts has changed their price match policy. Shop elsewhere. I did and saved another $80. Don't be afraid to price shop and buy elswhere. Any return lens benefits don't offset your bottom line savings! Be a smart shopper!!!!

This Company is an absolute joke they will not deliver to you on time it will make it very complicated for you to get your prescription through and on top of that UPS is in cahoots with them to show an early delivery time they will never show up

I have been using 1800 contacts for years. This last order has been very different and it has changed and gone downhill. First, the price match. Their contacts are the most expensive around and I always called and they honored the price. Not this time. So many stipulations of what they can give me. Fast forward to my order, my order is clearly lost in the delivery of UPS. It was supposed to arrive yesterday and the last place they had it at was an hour from my home. It says there is no delivery date now. When I called 1800 contacts, I was told to wait for it at first until next week. I have had this happen where there are no updates, item is within an hour away and item is lost. Companies go over and above to contact the delivery service to find out and reship. I am told they don't ship on weekends. Total different experience of this order from beginning to end and they just don't care. I'm glad I only ordered one box due to their expensive prices and will submit my next order elsewhere. Now I am going to search all over again online for another company as this package is most likely lost in the mail.

Pay close attention: Their customer service is awful and customer loyalty is nonexistent. I was told they could not honor any of THEIR OWN promo codes (shown right on their site) because, although my order is well over their stated minimum dollar amt for various promo codes, I have eye insurance and therefore I am INELIGIBLE to use a promo code! Mind you, I PAY for my eye insurance and 1800contacts is paid by my insurance so WHY are insured customers punished and treated differently from uninsured ones? Their "customer service" (i use the term very loosely) said I should consider my insurance as my "discount!" Can u believe that bs??? So they want to penalize those of us who pay for insurance! Un-freaking-believable! They could've at least offered me the expedited shipping but NOPE, if i ordered on 7/9 she said my delivery date would be 7/21! Man, do i dislike this company! I ordered from them for years, then went to a different company last year due to price and i thought id give them another chace to get my business. Bad idea. If u are on the fence reading reviews...please save urself some headache today or in ur next years' orders and look somewhere else. Even if u do not have insurance, trust me, they will eventually treat u like crap.

I’m writing a review solely to advise other customers to buy their lenses elsewhere. Yes, 1-800 contacts will match price, but that’s what every store does in 2021. What 1-800 contacts will not do is go above or beyond the basics to show their customer loyalty. I have been using one 800 contacts for over five years and I will not be using them anymore. In fact I ordered three years of contact lenses for three members of my family within the last six months and while ordering the last pair all I asked for was some sort of discount for customer loyalty. I was told by three different managers know. How easy would’ve been for them have just given me 10% off or $25 off to retain me as a customer? On top of that, I had accidentally returned unused contact lenses for my left eye because I thought my prescription has changed in both eyes. I had to buy back my original lenses for my left eye at an increased price! I am done with this company and you should be too!

They messed up my order by giving an incorrect phone number to my courier. And on top of that they failed to provide me with a tracking number. I had to contact multiple agents via the online chat to be able to get a tracking number. And that too, was given to me 4 DAYS after I requested . Some agents have zero clue and will just lie and say that there is no tracking number with the order. I really fail to understand how this is possible for an online contact lens store which advertises INTERNATIONAL delivery . After the first order did not order within the advertised delivery time, I contacted 1-800 and they sent a replacement order. That also did not arrive in the estimated delivery time. In the end, I had to contact the courier (UPS) and they told me that they could not reach me by the phone number provided by the sender. When I investigated, I found that my phone number was incorrectly given to them!! ( I double checked my details on the website to see whether it was a mistake from my part and IT WASN'T and this mistake had been made on BOTH orders, hence why the first one did not deliver too. In the end the UPS guy was very helpful and arranged delivery for the parcel. So much for paying almost $34 in shipping with 1-800. I would not recommend this website and would advise to make sure they give you a tracking number when your order is shipped.
