After researching costs of contact lenses I came to 1-800 Contacts because they advertised the best price. After entering my information you get to view your cart. It shows the price plus the discounts. After you select checkout, prices are no longer visible. You select to enter your insurance benefits, they accept it. You enter your credit card information. You've done the math and figured our what your total should however, once you submit the order the price increases by $80+. You recalculate...still can't figure it out. You opt for the online chat. Then they tell you that...oh if you use your insurance, the discounts do not apply. You're not even eligible for the rebates. No where in the check out process does it mention this. It's a scam...they hide the prices during the check out process so you have NO idea until your submit what they're charging you. If they hadn't have already applied my insurance I would have cancelled this order, but we all know how difficult it would have been to get my benefit back. I will NEVER order from this company again. If you're considering them WATCH OUT!

I ordered contacts with Systane drops. They were expired. Called to complain. They sent me another pack. Expired as well! When I called to complain, they didn't seem to care and refunded me. This is eyes we are talking about. I have ordered from them for years. I am done!

Followed directions to order contacts. Received an email stating order received. Then received another e mail stating order cancelled, couldn't verify prescription. Called eye doc. They received no inquiries from 1800contacts. Received another email prescription was verified and to order (which I thought I already had). Saw a charge on my debit account from 1800contacts. Called them and they verified the order was cancelled. When asked why they charged me before verification, there was no explanation. Only that it could take 3 to 5 days to get my money back. 10 minutes to take my money, 3 to 5 days to get it back for a service/product they could not provide. All of this a many conflicting emails makes this company a stay away for me.

I will never order from 800 Contacts again. I started an order on August 1, 2022 uploaded my prescription to my shopping cart. I did not checkout at that time since I needed to wait for my paycheck to be deposited. In the mean time I received an email stating almost there so on August 4 2022 I placed the order via the link in the email thinking it was connected to the order that I had sitting in the shopping cart. I sent a picture of the prescription without my name since I had already uploaded the prescription I thought on to their site. I received an email which I respond too at 11:39 AM I called spoke to an agent at 3;50 PM was told that everything had not been linked and that if was linked by 6:30 PM the contacts would be shipped out yet Thursday. The agent said that she would try to get my order moved up so that it was linked before 6:30 PM. I received an email at 9:12 PM saying the everything had finally been processed. The contacts shipped out on 8/5/2022 was to receive them on August 8 2022 at 7:00 PM at 8:30 PM still had not received the contacts. I called they are sending me a replacement shipment which I will not receive until sometime Wednesday. In the mean time I have working wearing 2 pairs of glasses to be able to see my computer. I think that is very sad that it takes a 12 hours to process an order for customer who requested and is paying for over night shipping. This is not the first time that I ordered from them thinking I would have by contacts the next day and they took for ever to process the order and I did not receive to following week. Moving forward I will not be purchasing any contacts from this company.

This is a crap company don't waste your time nor your money. Don't bother calling trying to speak with someone they don't care oh and if you want a refund 10 days. Just complete garbage of a company!

I had purchased from 1800Contacts in the past but have been buying from EzContacts since 2016. Not that I have any loyalty to them, they have simply come up with best price time and time again. Usually with no haggling. That doesn’t mean I don’t look for the best price every time I need to place an order. I do. That's when I saw an excellent price on my lenses pop up on my google search. 1800Contacts - $63.95 for a 24 Pack of Acuvue Oasys. I had already had them for in my EzContact Shopping Cart for $69.95 per box. But hey.. Looks like I'll be giving 1800Contacts a try again. Note to retailers: I will switch my allegiance for a $6.00 a box savings in a heartbeat. Unfortunately when I clicked the link the price mysteriously changed to $101 per box? I double checked with a salesperson via chat and they informed me. "That price" was for "new customers only" But… Since I hadn't ordered in a long time they could offer it to me. “Great,” I said. "Call me back on the 20th and I will take them for sure" To 1800Contacts credit they did call me back on the 21st. Unfortunately.. That is when the deal derailed badly. “Absolutely I want to buy them," I said, "But I need to verify the price first." The promised price had been 2 boxes @ $63.99 for a total of $127.98. He comes back on the line and says the price is $251 for 2 boxes. Almost twice as much as the promised price! "What?" I laughed. “That’s not even close. I already have them in my cart at EzContacts for $69.99." “Well wait,” he said. “We will beat anyones price by $1.00 a box. I just need to verify the price.” Note to retailers. I will not switch my allegiance for a couple bucks... So at this point, this conversation was essentially over. But he came back and informed me the best price they could verify was $99.95 a box. So they could offer me them at "$98.95 per box" Did he think I was lying... End of discussion. Minutes later I was completing my order with EzContacts.com. I had shipping confirmation in less time than it took to write this review...

Found the same contact lenses for a lot less money somewhere else !

I made an order on 9/20/2021, It is now 7/1/2022 TEN MONTHS LATER and they still refuse to process and send out the rebates check. I have been in contact with them this entire 10 months and they have been unhelpful and unprofessional about this order. I don't recommend to use their services.
