I have used this company for over a decade. I recently submitted an order, money withdrawn from account, only to receive an email an hour later, telling me my RX requires a different type of contact. Of course, this impacts price, requiring me to spend MORE money. I cancelled my entire order again only to be told more disappointing news that it will take 3-10 BUSINESS days to deposit my refund that took 2 seconds to take OUT of my account. Beyond disappointed in this company. The website glitches, they state on some styles are a “manufacturers out” meaning they no longer carry. I go to other sites and find them just fine. Making all this money and they can’t invest in a better tech team?!? Let’s not talk about the bizarre “hold music” when you call. I’m going elsewhere and YOU should too!

I paid for next day service because I’m leaving Sunday on a trip and the customer service girl Trish was nasty I told her I am leaving Sunday I need my contacts next day she told me your next day is Monday uhm !? I am lacing Sunday she had a nasty attitude won’t be buying dom 1800 anymore…..

If I could possibly give them less than one star I would. After cancelling my order, they went into my bank account and decided it was ok to take $184.00. Their customer service people were less than helpful, and when asked to speak to a manager I was told they didn't know when that would be possible.

Their gazillion satisfaction policy is BS. If you return contacts more than once, the company will not honor what you paid. You will not get the credit you should for returned contacts. I ordered 2 boxes of contacts. I ended up returning most of them because while working with my eye doctor, he changed me to a different brand. That return process went smoothly and I got the correct credit. When I again needed to return contacts to get a different brand, 1800 contacts stated that my credit would be $53.28. I was returning a full 90 pack plus 25 singles. I asked how is that possible. I was told from their customer service that I hadn’t actually paid full price for the contacts because I had used a credit from a previous return. I explained that yes, I did in fact pay full price even though I used credit from a return. She went on to say that they only take the cash price I paid into account. So my credit was for $211. I paid $96 cash. They would only honor the cash part or the return. What a rip off.

If I could give a negative rating I would. I ordered one month of contacts on 5/20. They said they were on back order. Never heard anything after that so I contacted them on 6/5. I was told they would be delivered that Thursday. Nope, noting came. Contacted them again and was told I could get the 90 day supply and they would give me a discount. Ok. Nope, Two hours later they told me those were out of stock too. Contacted them a third time and they said we can send you an alternate brand. Ok. Nope now they say my prescription that was approved back in May is now expired. Quick to charge my back account though and I still have no contacts. Awful company.

The company is a scam. I ordered like 3-4 times with all the proper documentation and they kept putting my order in hold. The service is terrible. I hope to get my money back, it was an order of over $800. DO NOT BUY HERE!!!!

I recently had the unfortunate opportunity to try out 1-800 Contacts, and I must say, it was a complete disappointment from start to finish. I had heard some positive reviews beforehand, but my experience was far from what I expected.

Don’t BUY!! These are the worst contacts ever! I have worn contacts over 30 years. I have never had an issue like what I have with these! I order in March and as of today I’m out of contacts and It’s supposed to last 6 months! They Suck! I have to different visions in each eye so I have to buy double boxes. A First and Last for me!!
