Hi Ty, Thanks for leaving us feedback about your experience. I am so sorry to hear you had trouble with using your HSA and receiving a refund. All purchases do have a pre-authorization put on the payment method, however, it's not a fee and simply a way to secure the funds before they are withdrawn. They should not be two separate transactions. We process refunds back to the original card as soon as a refund is requested. At that point, it's up to the banking institution to process the refund and apply it back to the card. We quote 3-10 business days for all refunds because these are the average time we see banking institutions return funds to cards. Thank you for providing additional information about your order. We reviewed your account and identified the issue you encountered. Unfortunately, the manufacturer of your brand has discontinued making specific prescriptions parameters and your prescription is one of those discontinued parameters. Other retailers or eye doctors may be able to fulfill that order as they have leftover stock, but due to the rate at which we go through inventory we are no longer able to have those in stock since the manufacturer no longer produces them.
