In response to management at 10 Federal storage: my vehicle was parked in the space you assigned to me. CHECK YOUR RECORDS. Furthermore, I’m insulted that you would insinuated I had been living in your facility. LIES! My family lives 2 mins from your storage. Had I been living there I might have heard when thieves cut a hole in your fence and vandalized my shuttle. Which your “so called” security cameras never captured by the way. I’m a 57 year old woman who, with blood sweat and now tears, has been converting a E450 shuttle bus “Harmoni” into a lifelong dream home to live freely and service others. Many of my family, friends and social media followers have been on this therapeutic journey with me. At the moment I am homeless and Harmoni is incomplete with heavy unmounted objects moving freely around inside. My home was snatched away by 10federal Storage(Camden, SC) whose main office is in Raleigh, NC. Harmoni was towed away without utilizing “EVERY” contactable means I supplied at the time of our contract. I have paid 10 Federal every month, on time, for almost a year, this includes the beginning of July, the month they chose to violated me. I trusted you, even after my shuttle was vandalized in your storage with your “so called” security camera system. “I” also kept an eye on “your” property and notified you (with pictures) when there were holes in your fence damages to your property as well as the security gate not functioning. Could you be any more ungrateful? Could you care any less Mr. Minsley? So now, unaffordable tow fees are accumulating as I write this. Where is your common sense and humanity? I have been trying to contact a “human being” at your office with no success. I feel violated, and unappreciated as a valued customer. It’s stressful and very difficult to sleep. My entire life is in my home. I’m giving you a short grace period to do the right thing. 10 Federal Self Storage in Camden SC located @ 338 Sumter Hwy...Should be closed down . They took the rent fee for July off my card.....The same day they sent an email to my spam telling me to move my camper off the premises for paving and maintenance.. WTH..I had paid 440.00 to have someone move my camper to this facility because I was assured 3 weeks prior by an agent at there office that my camper would be Just fine there til I find a lot to place it on..I specifically asked the gentleman if it would be okay there for at least 2 months..Sure He Said... No Worries He Said. I rented a covered storage unit on June 12 and when I came to check on it July 11th it was gone.. They had it towed because they were going to do maintenance on lot they said.. Said I ignored letters asking to remove it.. NEVER GOT ANY SUCH LETTER.NEVER GOT A PHONE CALL..SINCE THEY TOOK MY MONEY ON JULY 1 OFF MY CARD I DID NOT SEARCH FOR EMAIL FROM THEM..ALSO THE INCOMPETENT AGENT TYPED MY PHONE NUMBER IN WRONG..HAD I KNOWN THAT I WAS GOING TO HAVE TO MOVE MY CAMPER AGAIN IN 3 WEEKS....I NEVER IN HELL WOULD HAVE PAID 440.00 TO HAVE IT PLACED THERE.. I HAVE BEEN HOMELESS FOR 5 MONTHS WORKING ODD JOBS AND SAVING MY MONEY TO GET ME A PLACE TO LIVE IN OTHER THAN MY CAR..I WAS SAVING MONEY TO RENT A LOT TO HAVE IT PLACED ON...I WAS ALSO PREPARED TO START A REALLY GOOD JOB JULY 12TH..IAM OUT 900.00 PAY CHECK AS WELL AS 1000.00 IN TOW FEES AND HAVING TO HAVE IT PLACED ELSEWHERE...10 FEDERAL SELF STORAGE SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO EVEN HAVE A BUSINESS LISCENSE..THEY KNEW THERE WAS GOING TO BE WORK AT THE FACILITY WHEN I RENTED MY SPACE AND LIED TO MY FACE..SHAME ON YOU..I AM IN PROCESS OF FILING A CIVIL SUIT IN COURT ON YOU ...

They gladly took my money, but slow to help. Got to the unit to move in and pulled up to the unit, opened it with the code they gave me and it was full of someone else’s stuff. Called and had to wait for 40 minutes for a resolution. Completely unacceptable, my time has more value than sitting around waiting for them to fix their mistake with no more than an I am sorry…

Gate is wide open, to fill out form was ridiculous!!!! Too expensive for the place and location.. People hanging out at storage, I didn't feel safe leaving my boat but we had already paid

I finally got all my stuff out of storage at this horrible place. I started with the Valdosta location back when the local owners had it and it was a great place to keep your stuff. Then 10 Federal took over, and my rent went up. Then they forced me to pay insurance on each of my units. Then when I moved out of one they vacated the wrong unit and said I would have to sign a new agreement for the one I was still in because of their mistake. They also raised the rent again! When I went to get the last unit cleared out, they had cut MY LOCK and put theirs on the unit, even though I was paid up for the whole month. They don't care about you. They are way over-priced and under serviced. NEVER use this place for your stuff! You'll be sorry!

Very poor management, especially when company switched to 10 Federal Self Storage. Jefferson City, MO storage building is old, dirty, poor lighting, and has had issues with flooding that they were not honest about nor were they helpful when we had to move to a different unit because of the 1 inch water inside it. The water was from a broken pipe that they said was fixed but it was still dripping and water was still standing outside our unit 4 days later when we could go to the storage to check. They offered no compensation or help in moving belongings. We had rental insurance but no assistance to help with filing. We even had to refile our application to switch to an identical unit. (We continued to use them as we were moving the next month.) Despite their advertising, they allowed a car repair business to operate inside for some time and another person had an office in one unit. Doors were not always secured. Bathrooms were not always available during business hours; especially during a remodeling or were nasty and/or had no supplies. No trash receptacles were available after 10 Federal took over. Would not recommend or use again.

Well you set up my account took my money had me e sign the paperwork and then told me that there's no access to new customers after I already have stuff inside the facility right now my rating is a 0 and make it worse if I don't get access to the facility soon it all depends on how you handle this problem

I began renting with this facility when it All American Storage, about 2 months ago. Great experience under that company. Paid on time, the 20th of each month. Last payment made on May 20..240$. As scheduled. Who knew it was being sold? I got to the facility today, now under a née name, 10 Federal Storage. I was locked out. I went to the office to inquire and the on-site mgr says because I owe. How could I owe when I paid on May 20th and the next payment to my knowledge is June 20th. Again..who knew it was sold. The new people says an email was sent on May 28th, 3 days before they expected one to PAY AGAIN. Well the email was in my spam! My issue is the way it was handled and the girl I spoke to on the phone came at me with we are storing your stuff..YES YOU ARE and I paid as required per the contract I signed!!! What I am not is a person who wants something for nothing. My business is what pays for your business. I can only speak for myself but I deserve proper notification not 3 days before something is due after I just paid for the new month, which was May 20-June 20. Your polices should account for people who have paid. Then they tell me a CREDIT was issued on my account for 132$ instead of a refund. This is all about what works for them. And again how dare the customer service rep tell me WE’Re STORING YOUR STUFF..like I owed them for nonpayment! It’s insulting..and the only concern was the money versus taking ownership that they failed to properly notify the customers that a new company owned it and ample time for people to make adjustments since they are DEMANDING you pay again 2 weeks later with 3 days notification. I was treated like I was trying to STEAL FREE STORAGE—that’s exactly what that rep insinuated! The on-site mgr said it was All American’s job to notify that the business was being sold. It was the new company’s job to notify people with ample notice not 3 days which I didn’t know I had an email until she mentioned today.
