Would try again, but didn’t totally like
My initial experience was good. Opened the box to find the supplies wrapped in nice bag, and everything looked really pretty. Then after that, it wasn’t as great as I had hoped.. These are my negatives, keeping in my mind that some others may be more educated or experienced than me.... 1. The kit didn’t come with the eyelash curler like how it appears it does in the video. Not a big deal, I assumed it did but, I also didn’t read what came with the kit- that’s on me. 2. The glue container is awful and doesn’t allow hardly anything to come out, even with squeezing it like crazy. I got too frustrated and took it apart to get the glue out. 3. It was A LOT harder than it looked to put the lashes on. It took me forever to get them on. 4. The adhesive remover felt very drying and left a white residue on my skin. I did wash the areas afterwards and the white residue was gone, but I didn’t like that it almost felt like acetone near my eye. 5. Taking them off was also harder than it looked. Like I said in the above comment, the remover feels like harsh chemicals. It stung quite a bit when the fumes hit my eye during the removal process. To take them off gently, I followed the instructions and removed them with the brushes it came with, it just stung from the fumes. What I did like: 1. The cost. Way cheaper than going to have them done. 2. The presentation- it looked like a pretty, pink and classy present. 3. They do stay on pretty good, I think mine lasted about 7 or 8 days before they looked kind of haggard and needed removing. 4. The look. They look pretty nice considering I did them myself. I gave 3 stars, because overall I did like them, I just really didn’t like the adhesive remover, and how difficult it was to get the glue out. The other things I didn’t like, could be because of user error.
