one of the worst registrar ever. customer support is rubbish. they don't understand your problem and respond with canned answers. for every issue they answer it will be resolved in 24 to 48 hours. they over charge you on domain renewals. misleading claims on website.

I went on their website, searched and found a great domain, and then ordered it. 2 days later I get a cancellation email just stating "Domain registered by another party". No other explanation, no apologies - nothing. I'm guessing these guys liked the look of the domain I'd ordered and took it for themselves? Is there an ombudsman that you raise this sort of thing against as it is fraudulent in my opinion. Think I'll stick with Godaddy next time as I would not trust this company!

Buyer beware. I should have listed to the reviews. Buying a domain from here is like roulette. If you get stuck with a problem, don't expect help or service at all. They treated me extremely poorly and never solved an issue that they created.

TERRIBLE platform and service. There are 4 different places to enter address and other information - and then they don't add it to the invoice. Support takes ages and simply refuses to update a single invoice. Seems like it was developed in 80s. Stay away - there are way better places to buy domains.

I have been with these guys for a few years and lately the service standards have dropped. Support often takes days to respond and the responses are borderline rude and unhelpful.

BE CAREFUL SCAMMERS - 101 DOMAIN We did a mistake and moved most of our domains with them. We are NOT able to move them out anymore. They are not providing the authorization code and they locked the transfer. They have FULL control. WE ARE NOT ABLE TO UNLOCK OUR DOMAINS NOR GET THE INFORMATION The renewal fees are extremely high comparatively to other providers. All other companies provide full access to the authorization codes, reasonable price and full control. We have full control With 101Domain, they are locked. We are unable to unlock them. I sent multiple emails and support tickets. They provided only few and all others are still locked. Again, I requested to unlock all REPLYING TO BELOW MESSAGE: This is NOT true as they should be NOT locked from the IT LEVEL and manipulated by you. Why am I unable to unlock them myself? as clearly the online system do allow that. Why they are double locked? I have been struggling for more than 4months And for the domains registered with the trustee, they do have authorization code as confirmed by other providers. They are asking for the authorization code and I have been communicating this with 101Domain with NO RESULT Your pricing is over the top comparing to normal pricing and your service is bad We do have more than 200 domains and purchased with multiple providers. All do provide the list with the authorization code, excellent service, easy transfer and standard pricing. 101Domain, provide none of this. Yes I would appreciate immediate list of all authorization code, allow me to unblock my domains and transfer them. And regarding the ones with Trustee, I am able to connect you with the other company if need it. I would appreciate immediate action as I am not interested to pay double or triple the normal pricing. And the most important turn off for me is when I realized that I do not have full control with my domains. As if held hostage. This is how I felt and only with 101Domain

A long time to fulfill requests by the site and many requests are meaningless

The whole incident illustrated: 1. How poor at communication your team is. 2. How broken your backend systems are Your system clearly showed a domain as available for registration, so I attempted to do so. For over 24 hours it sat in processing - despite having successfully billed my credit card. I reached out trying to get clarification, and got no response. The registration then was canceled, but without any explanation or contact from you. Not knowing why, I simply registered again. This second registration was then canceled. I finally was able to get in contact with someone, but they seemed more concerned with explaining why this happened than empathizing with how poor of a customer experience this is. I understand that you cannot sell a domain that is not available. I get that. But, what I do NOT get is why your system seems to not have any idea what domains are available or not. This leaves me with zero confidence that even something as simple as renewing my existing domains will not fail for inexplicable reasons. What I also don't understand is why your support staff is unable to communicate in both a timely and effective fashion. A canceled registration should have been accompanied by an explanation. In this case I already had an open support ticket with you for 24+ hours by this point - you could have responded to that? Then, when I finally was able to get a customer "service" person on a chat, he seemed to not realize just how horrible of a user experience this whole system was. I do not have these problems with other registrars that I use, and I've owned MANY domain names over the past two decades - so it's not like I'm inexperienced in registering domains. I will be transferring my domains away from you over the next 12 months in direct response to this CSR’s poor communication skills.
