101domain is one of the most comprehensive domain registrars I've found. Their search engine makes finding the right domain easy, especially names international to the U.S. which you wouldn't have thought to check. I've been happy with their domain management portal, which is one of the easiest to use based on my research.

Their customer service (at least the two agent I came across) is mind blowing. Super professional, and they offer to make everything really easy for you. It is even scary. They even give you very useful options as a follow up to what you are asking. Also so far (4 times) the reply was instantanious.

I recently couldn't login after losing my username/pw after switching over to Windows 10. I emailed customer service and they replied within a few hours stating that they couldn't email my login credentials and provided me with some follow-up instructions. Initially this was very frustrating, but then I realized this was obviously a security measure to prevent someone from transferring your domain with a stolen email address. Eventually, I found my login info again and the issue was resolved. The 101domain dashboard has been updated with a new (and very concise) layout with clear navigation. Since Godaddy doesn't accept codes anymore, I decided to transfer my last few remaining domains to 101domain once they are nearing renewal. FYI- I've been a 101 customer since my last registrar automatically transferred my domain shortly after announcing they were ceasing operations.

Hi txzec14, we wanted to thank you for sharing your experience and feedback with us. You are correct. We have a strict procedure for account access recovery, and although it can be frustrating like you mentioned, it's for the security of our customers. In light of this, we are happy you have access to your account again and are pleased with the dashboard. We work very hard to implement feedback directly from our customers to create an experience you can enjoy. Now that you have all of your domains with us, we are excited to welcome you to the 101domain family! We look forward to continuing to work with you well into the future. Best regards, 101domain
