This company makes money by ripping off stupid people. Every movie they have available to download is available completely free from bittorrent websites that do not require you to join to download. Their entire catalogue of movies actually comes from the bittorrent sites. It works like this: 1. The people who run ZML look online and easily find the newest pirated movies free for download so they download them and then add them to their catalogue. 2. Stupid people who are too lazy to simply search google for the movie titles or learn how to use the free torrent or direct download sites to receive the exact same high quality copies find a link by accident to ZML and join up for an offer that seems too good to be true for regular uninformed computer users. 3. These same stupid people then realise they have been overcharged and ripped off and many of them even resort to making up stories about only joining up to get a movie for their kids when they start making complaints because they are too embarrassed to admit they wanted the cheap new movies for themselves. 4. Only when people start using common sense will sites like ZML stop ripping them off, but the world contains many stupid people so it looks like they will be in business for a long time. 5. If you feel offended by what I have written then congratulations for being one of the stupid people. The truth hurts sometimes but maybe in future you will do some simple research or use your brain before signing up to something that seems too good to be true. 6. Finally remember you can get every movie ZML offers on their scam site totally free from the same sources they themselves use. Its called the internet and google.

I looked for months and months for a download company that gave me a good service. I found zml and signed up for the 99 cent trial. the site states that you will be upgraded in, i believe, 24 hours. I was upgraded and instead of bitching I tried the site. i have downloaded over 300 movies with simply 3 clicks. They now offer multiple languages, no other site offers this. I can download 3 or more movies a night while I sleep. Unlimited downloads for the price of a monthly membership which is not cheap but when you consider the number of movies you can download it is the cheapest online. If I write to the support, they always answer with a considerate , helpful, answer. I am a normal guy, check me out on google, jack meibaum, write to me at [email protected]. If you simply read the terms, know what you want in a download company, do not expect to get the world for 99 cents but want reliable downloads for a price. check out zml in a serious way and in a professional manner and I truly believe you will find that there in none better. jack meibaim

I signed up for a 24-hour U$1.99 trial and was charged U$39.99 for a month's subscription, without prior notice, and then the following month was charged 39.99 in EUROS which comes to about U$55. I wrote emails, and got no response. Seems pretty scammy to me. I did download two movies during that initial 24 hours and was happy with the quality, but since then have heard nothing and am being charged more.

I HAVE BEEN WITH ZML FOR AROUND 4 YEARS AND THEY AND THEIR SITE WERE EXCELLENT FOR ME. I HAD ABOUT 3 FAILED DOWNLOADS BUT THE MONEY WAS REFUNDED TO ME PROMPTLY. I FOUND THEIR SUPPORT CREW TO BE VERY RELIABLE AND PROMPT. I HAVE NO NEGATIVE COMMENTS AT ALL.

I add 20 bucks to my account at a time, then download movies as I want them. No monthly membership and no recurring charges. I have been very happy with all the downloads so far. As far as the last week though.... Site seems to be down and I think they might be in legal trouble. I have $10 left in my account. Don't think I will ever see it again... Was a good site while it lasted....

ZML is a rip off, they are not upfront about costs, lots of the downloads are actually pirated straight out of movie theaters. All ways to contact them usually end in "error" They "membership" is charged out under a different name each month, so looking at bank receipts they all look different, and generally the charges differ also. I too signed up for what I thought was a one day trial, and then discovered two months later I was billed for a full "membership" each month even though I had been inactive since I discovered the first day what they offered. I tried to contact them, but to no avail. Buyer Beware

Hi, only just joined zml and managed to download a couple of films but they have been broke down for the passed 3 days, and they keep telling me they will be back on line within 24hours. That was 2 days ago. Getting a bit concerned now.

Rules we should live by: 1. READ THE SMALL PRINT. If you don't there's no point crying about it afterwards. It's a tool that every legitimate company uses. 2. Don't give your card details out for a free trial so easily (particularly to a site that mashes the english language as comprehensively as this one). 3. The internet is not well protected and even if you're dealing with a household name you should tread very carefully. Now the review: I've been using this site since 2008 with no problems and no, I don't work for them, I have no Russian or Greek heritage (?) and no agenda other than to share my experience! Sounds like the free trial causes an issue for people. I never used that, just signed up for an account and used the "pay as you go" style top up facility. I've had no problems with payment or unauthorised transactions using the site in this way. The movies themselves are good quality and I have yet to download anything I am disappointed with. Service-wise I've experienced the odd issue here and there with links not working properly or the site being temporarily down, but nothing major. ZML are NOT a scam site from my experience but perhaps they need to be clearer in their transactions and get rid of the free trial nonsense as it clearly does their reputation more harm than good.
