I never write reviews, but this warrants it - I purchased TRX-1 after talking with the team, they programmed 2 counties for me here in Cincinnati and 3 days later I received my unit, plugged it in and 5 mins later was listening to an unending new world of PD/EMS/FIRE with little/no effort on my part. The team absolutely knows what they're doing in pre-programming so I can enjoy listening without spending a minute on look-ups, manuals and programming. Great unit, clarity is superb, range is 30 miles with stock antenna and worth the spend. Could not be more pleased with service and unit. Thanks for delivering real value.

Zip at Zip Scanners , refunded my programming Charges as it has been determined that my area wherre I live has gone all encrypted for police and fire, so there is nothing I can listen to here. He said he should have caught that before sending my programmed card. He was very gracious and is refunding my charges.

Zipscanners' chat staff were helpful, well informed, and not pushy. The programming service they offer was performed as promised - it really came out of the box "one touch". Their communication was prompt and accurate, and even offered a clever depiction of how "awesome" our order was- amusing and well written. Would recommend this company to anyone.
