Everyone that I chatted with or spoke to was very helpful with the purchase of my new scanner was flawless to say the least. They do price match and once they price match someone else's price the free programming they offer is then off the table... so make your purchase, get your scanner, programmed and all, then call them about the price match that you may have found if they don't offer you the price difference send it back and buy the one you found at a cheaper price. I did my price match 1st which did save me a lot of money, but since they made the price match they would not program my scanner and it is not listed on their website that if they do price match they will not offer the free programming which does not sound free now that I think of it.... Anyway the staff is very helpful and will walk you through any choice that you make.

They're the best had a slight problem cuz I'm old didn't know what I was doing and Luke and Steve ran me through everything they're the best I've ever had and the best price I highly recommend them

Zip Scanners is a solid dependable outfit to buy your scanners and accessories. Prices cannot be beat and tech support will spend as much time with you as needed. If you call them you often get to speak to the owner. How can you beat that ? However the Whistler scanner I purchased will not decode a system 8 miles away from me. Be careful if you want to monitor a Project 25 system. Whistler has been great in trying to solve this issue,but 2 months later I still cannot hear a system that was my main intention to listen to. I am not happy about this.This is no fault of Zip Scanners but may be an issue with the frequencies or tone controls. I would not hesitate to purchase from Zip Scanners again.

Zip Scanners goes out of its way to please you. When USPS did not fulfill on the promised "2 day" delivery, this company did everything it could to follow through, expedite, and then removed the charge. They kept me updated through the process. It's not how you are treated when everything goes well, it is how they treat you when you have a problem. Five stars to this Zip Scanners.
