Not much to say. Have not received even tho it should have been here by now.

Very satisfied with the product. Took about a month to figure out a number of things to get it to scan what was interesting to me. However, the customer interface with the Zip Scanner web site, once an order is placed, needs some serious work. "Chatting" on line with a rep clearly showed me that the rep had no idea how anything worked at the company related to order placement and processing. The web site said that I would be receiving an email confirming my order; that never happened. My credit card was charged on the same date as the order was placed, however the product was not shipped until a few days later. Most reputable internet shopping sites process the charge on the day the order is shipped. To this day (8/6/16) the website still reports my 6/30/16 order as "Processing" yet I actually received the order 7/7/16. Zip Scanner really needs to pay attention to the details of their order entering, processing and customer interface process. Then they would warrant a much higher rating in my opinion.

Had some questions about the scanner after I received it but the guy on the phone was little help. Figured it out myself and with a friend over the phone who has the same scanner. I usually have questions after the sale so when I buy another scanner I may look around a little. Also a glitch when I ordered it. They sent my scanner to another customer and I had to wait till they got another one in, but these things happen with mail order. Would check them out again though.

Zip scanner are very nice people to deal with, I bought a Uniden BCD436HP very disappointed in the scanner, bought it 2 weeks later had to send it in for repair. Still waiting on them to tell me how long the repair will take

Ordered a Whistler police scanner for my area. When i got the radio it would not pick-up my City police and fire dept. It seem like it took a lot of effort for them to try to help me. I called the Whistler Corp office, and Wayne Wilson tried to help me with the program that didn't help. So i called zip Scanner and told them i was going to send radio back because i can't get my city police or fire calls. They said ok send it back and we will credit you back your money. So i did. But when i got my statement they charged me 100.00 re- stocking fee. This is not exceptable .

Decided to purchase a HomePatrol 2 scanner from them as they are a local business. They were very helpful, courteous, and efficient throughout the ordering and shipping process. Then had them program my local 7 counties as Favorites channels. The only one that works is the one by my home. I drove around the city to different a couple of the other counties about 20 - 25 miles from home. The other programmed counties simply do not work as programmed. I keep getting an error message. Called Zip Scanners. They were kind enough to pick up the radio and tested it for a day. Said it worked fine. But when I got it back it gave me the same error message for the counties other than the one in which I live. Again drove to two other counties and the programmed Favorites still would not work. Called them back and they became argumentitive. Finally agreed to refund the money I had paid for programming. The radio works fine, but I had to figure out a way to manually program my own Favorites channels. So mixed results with them. For what I paid for the radio I guess I expected better results.

I have had scanners for years, but when everyone went to higher bands my old Bearcat was relegated to the agencies who haven't upgraded or will stay on the lower bands. Although the Whistler is suppose to be the best out there, I was surprised that most agencies where I live have gone encrypted so there is nothing much to listen to. My old Bearcat can monitor half of what I can get with the P25 II Phase. Radioreference is a joke. I thought we could keep updated from what was advertized on your website, but they only want more money for Premium users to use their system and they can't unscramble anything. I am not so sure $500.00 for a scanner that can't pick up Police, Fire and EMS was a good move on my part.

Ordered one scanner. They emailed me days later saying they couldn't fill that order. Ordered a different one that came with preprogrammed chip. However, the chip did not work. Great price on the second scanner. However, disappointed it took so long to tell me I couldn't get the original I wanted and the preprogramming didn't work.
