I spent about 25 minutes with a representative of this company going over my requirements for my new Whistler TRX2 scanner. I had specific requests for the programming and they happily accommodated me with no additional charges. The scanner arrived in just a few days and its worked well, right out of the box. I think that one of the local police dispatch channels is missing and when I have time, I'll call them and have them walk me through the steps to add this channel. 5 stars overall!

Bought the TRX-1. No fault of Zip Scanners but they should advise Whistler to make better quality screen display as it scratches very easy.

I got my scanner today & plugged it in. I am so happy with my purchase> I will recommend you company to anyone looking for a new scanner. Not having to program it was extremely pleasing, Loving it!!

It surprises me to see a few bad reviews on Zip Scanners as my experience was darn near perfect. They kept me informed throughout the transaction, sent plenty of information and instructional videos so I would get the most from my new toy. I even had a scan list on an sd card ready to install when it arrived. Oh, and I forgot to mention...their price was the best I could find.

I started to buy a different scanner...but the excellent help (not sale'see)...the information and the chats - changed my mind. Now that I have the radio, they were right. I'm very happy with the entire process. They help me understand each scanner, and the new features I was unaware of.....they didn't sell me on a scanner, just provided information and some direction....I appreciated this most. After some research, I ordered, and everything worked perfectly...Even as experienced scanner, get the expert programming -- Its worth it. If you by a scanner from some place else...you did it wrong. I'm so glad I found ZipScanners and I will be back soon to order more. Get your radio from here!

Ok you are the ones that can give new life to an older police scanner.
